@God_of_Demonz I was going to suggest a name but then I read these…way better than anything I’d come up with.
Yeah… My imagination is 100% full of cats so my titles probably were bad
To answer some questions I got ages ago about the appearance and heights of the main monsters:
Benny is the shortest - somewhere around 4’10"-5’. I picture him as having a medium caucasian skin tone and brown hair.
Victoria is about 5’2", very pale blond hair, porcelain white skin, and violet eyes.
Chantal/Caleb is about 5’6"-5’8", with red hair, green eyes, and a rosy peaches-and-cream sort of complexion.
Wendy is Native American, with cafe-au-lait skin, brown eyes, and black hair. She is about 5’10".
Carl is one of the tallest - almost 6’. He is African-American, with a strong build and short curly hair I can’t seem to get right.
Side characters -
Artemis & Hunter are 5’8", mixed race/Asian, with black hair, hazel eyes and a medium skin tone.
Taylor has brown skin and hair and is Latino. I think she/he is around 5’6".
Sandy is 5’4", has dirty blond/dishwater brown hair, a terrible fake tan, and a beaky nose.
Katie and Loren are 5’5" and 5’7" respectively, with tanned skin and blond hair.
I’ll have to sketch these backup guys soon.
So are Artemis and Hunter eursian? Like faith in mirror’s edge
Yep, they are Asian/European/American mutt.
Of Monsters and Men?
Wait…isn’t that a band?
Oh! I know! Being Human! There totally isn’t two separate TV shows already using that name.
http://www.ofmonstersandmen.com/ (which is a “thirty second Google search just now” discovery)
I still think it’d be a good name for the game.
Being Human seems to suggest that winning out over being a monster.
(Psssst there are totally two different TV shows about monsters called “Being Human”. The tragedy of titles….)
To be fair, the second and newer one is really just the American remake of the British original. Like the Office but with monsters and the guy from the Force Unleashed.
Also, why are Eurasians often portrayed as being badass?
Galen Marek was the shit… until TFU2, that was painful to watch, and I still wince when I think about it.
Personally I think Cryptid Classes is the best, because of the ring and lack of copyright.
not really different @Sashira, just the English Original & the American remake, both are pretty good shows though.
@Sashira Which title won ;-;.
Okay, I lied about getting the scene done before being able to fix the new bugs. It turns out the new bugs were obvious new mistakes, not consequences of cutting off the scene mid-code. So, home life forthcoming, but the demon should have stopped breaking all over the place until then.
Got to agree with you on that. Cryptid Classes has a nice ring to it. (Even if I had to google what the heck a cryptid was)
@Sashira Not to pressure you with our opinion, but what possible titles were you thinking of?
I might announce the winner tomorrow, or in a week, or in a month. It depends on when I sit up straight and say “BY GOD THAT IS IT.” No idea.
@Durxa
Cryptid something is the current forerunner. We shall see.
p.s. - I’ll give it to whoever the closest was. If I use “Monsters of New Haven High”, the win will go to @vampierkid222, if I use “Cryptid (something else unsuggested)” it will go to @God_of_Demonz
Monsters of Northwood (didn’t know what the town or school is called)
Monstrous surprise
I have others but that off the top of my head.
I think it’s safe to say from the quality of the writing so far that I’ll enjoy this no matter the title.
What length are you guestimating? Or is it too early to tell?
It looks like Day 1 will be around half an MB, so the whole thing will be around 3.5 MB. So, somewhere around seven times this length, or I think half the playtime of Tin Star.
Sweet, longer the better in my opinion. Tin Star was one of my favorite Hosted games.
