Oh God no!!

The opposite of humanity is monstrosity. In this culture, “monster” is not a bad word. Humanity will make you reluctant to take options that go against human morality or harm humans, and will make humans trust you easier. Monstrosity is the opposite - monsters will trust you easier, you will have more “monster pride”, and you will follow the rules of your species rather than of human society.

Neither humans or monsters are “better”, it’s up to you which you value more. It’s more like “assimilation” vs. “cultural identity” than “good” vs. “evil”.

EDIT: If you steal ALL THE BLOOD you will have to move, blood is what keeps your prey alive. :smile:

Oh no I didn’t mean being asexual ( even though that would be awesome because i am on but that would be to hard to write) I just meant if you play as one I was hoping we wouldn’t have to play the way media often portrays them. As in being totally driven by lust and overly sexualized . But I’m glad to know they don’t have to be like that.

While I question the realism of most of these clips, except for the first one (for reasons that are either because it’s just a monkey of some kind, a person they didn’t know was there, or because technology and editing was not up to snuff to really fake it back then. Course I could be wrong) it would be a nice reference.

Oh trust me it could be far worse if you lived in the city. There’s far more stories about suburban horror than the creatures that lurk in the forest.

Unless of course you do live in the city, then I recommend not looking any of this up.

Interesting! I was seeing it more like a supernatural curse, but I will have to think about the possible pseudoscience. That could be fun, to have a mystical and a semi-plausible scientific explanation for every species.

These are fake. (To my knowledge) but certainly.

I do enjoy making things that are mystical. The best stories always have a semi plausible reason why something is the way it is.

What makes things scarier is if you make it seem real enough that it could be plausible.

Also because I’m one of those people who nitpick at the “How can that be?”

Yes and no. Non-human blood, flesh, or energy will affect your characters drastically differently than their normal food. (No spoilers as to how.)
