I am thinking about how i could get in touch with Lucy again
How about… when Lucy is surrounded by police and cornered , i race to the scene and offer myself as hostage to her ? I will plead her to use me as shield and abduct me as insurance , when she take me to safety i can reconcile with her and talk about old days
After Lucy release me, i can then write an article about how kind was Lucy during the hostage situation, where she always ensure no one truly get hurt in the stand-off… i can also write about how authority shouldn’t always engage super power individual with hostile manner…
Then you get V? Mostly because even if you’re not sure if they’re villainous or not, there’s no way that they’d allow themselves not to be mentioned :))
Basically I’m hijacking this quiz and you can’t stop me
Oh hey just a heads up that I put the codex, list of major characters, and a couple of important minor character bios all together on one easy page right here!
There’s some info on a couple of people you haven’t met yet but will be important later on, and a couple that have yet to be added onto there so it’ll be updated with time. But that’s the majority of people who are gonna pop in and out of this story so, yeah! Enjoy!
I feel like anything that generally involves the MC in any danger she’s vehemently against. Fights get heated- especially if a villain appears to be on the losing side, more than a few fingers have slipped.
Plus she’s generally not actually a fan of people interferring with her job- it’s her job to take the brunt of the force, injury is something that works to her advantage, being cornered is when she’s strongest, in short. Others getting in the way during those high-stress times tends not to make her happy but rather mad.
So sadly this would not be one of the ways to get her back, aha, but would rather earn quite a fair bit of ranting on her part.
Nice!
Aha! Very true. I was originally going to go with ‘I guess you get a hero then’ but you know what? I like this option better.
Hey, it’s Cass that’s apparently been assigned making the quiz, so go right on ahead.
I’d say that still follows the basic rule of a loose definition of ‘sandwich’ (edible things between bread?).
Mmmm… Though considering there might be some debate on the nature of a sandwich and whether or not it’s really a sandwich depending on who you ask that would indicate either Atlas (the hero who nobody was ever really sure whether or not they were really a hero or a villain) or Igneous (the villain who likes to call himself a hero but is really just lying to himself and others).
Omg. I meant V is hijacking the quiz because I am very sure they probably have an inning with Triple N/the Rust and Buzzfeed quizzes are their thing and there is no way they would allow themselves not to be an option
Would also suggest Likewise since you don’t need anyone else to tell you what is or isn’t a sandwich
If a pita is your jam then it qualifies
(Anyone who says otherwise is for you to cut out since you don’t need that negativity in your life)
Well…i assume Lucy “Valkrie” is like Vegetable sandwich , unattractive and tasteless at first look… but once we look at her closer, vegetable sandwich is actually quite colourful , fill with natural auroma and most importantly she is good for our health
Vera will be like chili sandwich … i already know she is too hot to handle at first impression, if i taste it… she will definitely confirm my perception , simply …just too hot for me to handle
Oh my my… i do wish this is the case, i will tell Lucy her voice and rant is just like Music in my ear, i couldn’t get enough of it
I do hope you will include this option for my reply to Lucy
Does anyone wonder about what office gossip must be like for the MC’s love life if word gets around they’re dating? Since The Rust is pretty tabloid, I imagine the internal gossip must be a thing :))
A good chunk of the ROs though would necessitate a kind of mystery – Raf, Lucy, Ricky, and the Informant come into mind – due to their occupations so MC is contiously badgered about their mystery lover since the dirt about them is so sparse. Finley and Yolanda seem like a stretch/borderline unbelievable to the ears
(“The boss and MC?” Oh come on have heard more credible rumors than that!" vs “Nickleport’s own starlet with a tabloid reporter? Psh”)
(As an aside, Ricky also qualifies here for obvious reasons)
Frankly the only ones I can see the office outrightly believing are Eileen and Jacob. And am pretty sure they’re a bit obvious about their affection too (at least you can super tell they’re smitten and they don’t try to hide it anyway. Even if they did, they’re awful at keeping away the adoring eyed)
And we just don’t talk about V. They materialize when mentioned and then give the gossipers even more ridiculous rumors about them and the MC – may or may not be true – and that pretty much kills the mood
Sometimes I go overboard with cheesiness, but do I ever regret it? No, no I don’t.
Science.
The only thing I would argue here is the unattractive and tasteless part- Lucy has a definite magnetisism about her that has always drawn lots of people. Her confidence is extremely infectious and she has a very warm personality. (As you’ll see, actually in the next update since Lucy’s non-love flashback reveals a bit more about the MC’s college past and friends, she’s pretty much the person that drew the original friend group of the MC’s college years together.)
Plus Vegetable sandwiches can taste great.
This is entirely accurate.
Aha! Well, I will say that she’ll definitely have a word or two for the MC when they meet again.
Especially considering how it is they meet again.
Internal gossip is absolutely a thing.
Absolutely true.
Eileen and Jacob are both horrible at hiding their feelings, they basically radiate puppy love during those early crush stages and honestly unless your MC is especially oblivious then it’s probably going to be glaringly obvious if/when they develop a crush on them.
