You have to go with Ricky to get the new update! The flashbacks are a part of his path.
(And, if you want even more specificity, have gone with Ricky and not have said “I love you” when choosing who your MC had been married to, since that would automatically put you on the love track, and these are part of the non-love paths.)

First time reading through and I just want to ask something.

I love this? The writing style is very fluid, and the choices feel less stat-building and more organic, unlike most other interactive fiction games I’ve played. I like that our stat pages also read like a (news)journal a la journalist main character, rather than just numbers and physical descriptions.
The flashbacks (and were they ALL flashbacks, or were we actually visited by the ex-spouse while sleeping before going to Chat Blanc?? I chose to think it was actual reality and our character was just too sleepy to figure it out, lol can you guess who my MC is going to pursue yet) were really integral and none of the past choices felt forced either. Usually in games, flashbacks are kinda icky for me because I want to see what is happening NOW, instead of trying to fit the current character into the past. But your writing really feels organic, the flashbacks were short, to the point, and really heartwarming - I love them!
Just to inform, the harbinger choice for the relationships tab doesn’t work yet.
Also, can I say I love unfolding mysteries? This game, a detective-esque superhero story where you are integral to it without having super powers feels amazing. I feel like I am playing the love interest to a (superhero/villain/etc) main character whilst still feeling pretty important myself.
I am super interested in where the story will go!

I’m glad you also enjoy the less stat-based choices. Most of the stats on the stats screen (including relationships stats, I would say) are really just for flavor text. I want most of the consequences and outcomes of what you do to be because of how you do it.
I just like to make the assumption the reporter is good enough to succeed at what they’re trying to do, since thats how they got their job and have survived so long in it. Now it’s just a question of what they actually do and how that effects the outcome of it… if that makes sense?
They were written as all flashbacks but! I’m also not gonna step on you thinking it was reality, it’s left vague and if that’s how you read it then that’s great! Rock on!

Oh my god. I’m so happy to just read the synopsis, and even happier to read the demo.
Seriously tho, thank you for introducing Raf into my life. I love him so. I don’t care if he is a super villain, I believe it is for a good cause? Seeing his genuine and kind personality, I can’t really fathom what kind of villain he becomes. I’d really like to meet him again for sure.
And Ricky is so fun to tease, his reaction just so hilarious xD I’m aiming to be his bestie (and lover in another route), despites the “bad blood” between us on our first encounter. He’s just too cute.
And oh my, on each different option, the conversation will be entirely different… just a slight different choice will lead us to a totally different story line, different information, different clues… I’m in awe of your dedication.
I just love how vary and different the conversations are. Not boring at all.
I will be waiting for this, patiently. Someday when it finishes, I’ll definitely buy your work. Proud of you.

That’s one problem I don’t share my mc’s past with Raf is just that…the past.
For me the agony is and always has been between Ricky and Vincent.
I’m with you, can’t wait to find out which supers Vince and Ricky might be.

I’m convinced Vince does have powers or else he’s super cute, super rich, super clever and super reckless which are almost powers in and of themselves I suppose. 
I’m of course also convinced there is more to Ricky…beyond the affairs.
I mean it is conceivable that Vince stays cute and fit because of his super active lifestyle…
…but Ricky, either he has the most well-appointed home gym, or he is moonlighting as one of the caped crusaders.

I havent gotten to the end of the demo (as It stands) yet, but noticed a few things already my apologies if they have been mentioned
I am going to paste a few screenshots but I cant tell which order they will appear in soooo please bear with me as I explain myself (also folks if there is a better way to do this please school me, inhate looking like an idiot cheers!)
*I think that “…I know you’re usually up at this kinda time…” should be: “…I know you’re usually up at this hour…”
This spot where you are buying clothes: I looked in the stats and it doesnt say how much money you actually have on you. If this is something you plan to add, then cool. If not, I don’t think that adding price tags to clothes matters here. Paying $50 or $150 for something when I dont know how much money i have on me anyway, doesnt matter, right?
*A restaurant that doesnt serve beer before 5pm? That’s strange… is this set in modern times? **DISCLAIMER: I am not from a small town so if this is common in small towns, please disregard. This just felt weird to me.
*“Well…I’ve definitely seen lying through your teeth but nice job” doesnt sound right as a sentence. Maybe “Even if you were lying though your teeth, good job”? Or something along those lines…I am not trying to be the writer, you obviously have a gift but that sentence needs to be fixed.
