Minimal font formatting (?)

Hi all, I’m new here :slight_smile:

I’m developing a small demo to understand choiceofscript mechanics, and I was wondering if there is any way to do a minimal font formatting. Probably simply italic and bold would do it, and the functionality seems quite straightforward (e.g *bold_on would be translated to , and *bold_off to ) Any clues?

Mmm, looks like my html got mangled in the process. Let’s try again:

*bold_on -> the tag that bolds font, namely “less-than symbol” followed by “b” followed by “greater-than symbol”
*bold_off -> same thing, but with end-of-bold tag
