MetaHuman Inc. -- The finest superpowers money can buy!

This is doable – the .EXE file that Steam provides is actually a (self-extracting) ZIP file. You’ll need to download a third party program that can work with archive files (I use “7-Zip”, but there are plenty of others out there). Once installed, you can right click on the .EXE file and select “Open as archive” and view the scene files.

And yes, I do the same thing (read the source code after the first playthrough to see what I’ve missed and / or how to get the best results). The path to get the “Traveled back in time” achievement, for example, isn’t something that anyone is likely to find without examining the source code. To get this achievement you need to get stranded on the Surgeons home planet, alive, with either Retrocognization or Technopathy.

And yes, the love interests are the other CEO, Robyn, and your security guard (not Electra, Brett).

People who have finished the game should I buy this?

Yes. Run, do not walk, to buying it. Flying is acceptable if you have purchased the appropriate Enhancement.

Funnily enough that achievement you talk about in the spoilers is the one I got in my playthrough and never thought that this is something special. I would have loved if this would have been a New Game+ Thing, and not just a “Send you back to the beginning, after you chose you name” Thing though. Then again I dont even know if New Game Plus is even possible in the Game Engine.

I have to say one thing, I really liked the game especially as I didnt “win” it and actually missed archivements along the way, but I did find it in any way shape or form unfair. Actually I loved that it rewarded you if you actually paid attention to the story and that was not that easy to even see what every option would do. And if I would not have bought the game right from the start, I would have after the cliffhanger. This one was very well done.
Also I do not even want to know how often I played the beginning part of the game, just because I loved how the game changed reactions with certain stats, but I never felt like that a “wrong” choice would haunt me for the rest of the story. With some games I feel like, if I would not get every decision right I got never “win”, but here it got that balance. Plus I just loved the corporate side of the game, the way you deal with mundane office related stuff, also the romance scences and the many ways you could use your inventions.
I just kinda thought that the game wanted to much in the limited timeframe. A complete Alien Invasion, Time Travel, Clones that remove your arms and so on. While this was of course, you know the story, I personally thought it really was alot to take in and often it moved so fast, that it kinda felt weird. Probably I just liked the more corporate dealings in the game more, than the actual plot…which I would have never expected.

Overall it was a great game. It completly destroyed my sleep schedule as I wanted to finish the game and suddenly it was nearly 9 in the morning. So yeah I was quite immersed  Really looking forward to replaying this game after a while, as I still have unfinished business.

Yes ! worth the price

Looked very tempting and it’s getting good reviews; unfortunately, it doesn’t work on my phone, which given I paid upfront is pretty annoying. It’s an Iphone 4S; on loading the game displays the cover art, but crashes before the menu options appear. Reinstalled, but no joy. Any word on a fix?

My I-phone 5 crashes when I try to open the app as well ><

! My god, I never would have guessed that. Thank you!

My IPhone 5s does the same thing.

Bought it with my IPhone 5s and it always crashes before starting.

Hi All –

Model is much less useful than OS version. If you’re having a problem, please post or, even better, EMAIL US with your OS version.

Phone is an iphone 4 and crash on startup

Edit: Version 7.1.2

Bit of a bug. When you give up Katariki to the aliens on their planet, they take him away saying that he will be no more. But he was alive and in my custody in the month after I returned.

also, right at the end, when you’re eligible for either the feared or beloved achievement - it checks morale first, but doesn’t check that morale is actually greater than intimidation. Since the target morale is only 47 (or 41 with decent leadership) and you can get gobs of morale and leadership thrown at you through the game, this actually makes it rather difficult to be feared, even if you max out intimidation.

edit: Righto, tagged @PaulGresty

Another possible bug: when you get back with the time traveler, you get an option to recruit them, not recruit them but keep them housed, or to get rid of them. Is it intentional that if you take the middle option, you still get 10 point bonus to their specialty?

Tag @PaulGresty with bug reports.

It doesn’t seem like it does that, looking at the code. The second choice just adds 2 compassion.

Weird. I had it happen twice on Chrome, as tech specialist and a magic specialist. Threw off my end-game development big-time.

I’m having trouble w Brett. Is he only a homosexual LI?

Hm. Well, I can only speak for the steam version. Just verified on a run through with magic, and picking the middle option with the time traveler did not in fact change my alignment.
