I think he’s on the crusader path, there’s an entirely different endgame where you can get poisoned by some knights
Right before the civil war when your picking sides is it possible to do the 4th suggested option of pitting everyone agaisnt each other in order to further your dynasty, I figured it was hubris stat choice but I had a high hubris and it still didn’t show
There are a few culprits for poisoning. One if you get through the crusades, two in Norwall. One if you have married a special someone who has a pretty powerhungry family line, one if you’ve made some powerful enemies down south.
@Kingston and @djma46 It took me a while to recall exactly what happened with that. During the writing of the Civil War chapter, I removed the fourth option altogether. Mention of it remains as more or less flavor and to give an alternative way to read the options to come. It appears that may not have succeeded as well as I thought it would.
Question is there a way to court or love the lday Catherine before you go off to war?
I don’t know if this bug has been addressed yet, but on my stats page it displays:
“Heraldry: Azure, a Wolf couchant Or, crowned with chapletOr”
For reference, I chose a Wolf as my animal with a blue primary color and a gold secondary color.
Its not a bug, thats how its supposed to be. Azure means the background is blue, Or means that Wolf and Chaplet is gold. I brought it up earlier (Though mine was Gules, which is Red), and got the color explanation.
So, I was going through and trying to get every landed title possible, but I seem to have come across a bug. If you obtain too many titles the last one gets pushed away, for example my list was:
"Earl of Aswicdale, Baron of Steminster, Protector of Dumas, Baron of Oxbridge, Baron of Darrow, Knight of Norwall. "
But I was also High Steward for the Kingdom, since you can’t exactly avoid a council spot if you put someone on the throne. It occupied the last slot (It said “Knight of Norwall, Lord High Steward” for example), but then I got the Barony of Darrow and it pushed it off.
How do you manage to become a crusader ? Do you have to lose the civil war ?
That’s how I got there, I don’t know if there are other requirements.
how you get baron of darrow? i did have the other ones. i do not remember something about darrow?
What about Oxbridge? I’ve never seen that one before.
You can get more titles apart from your earldom ?
Yes, if you support Richard’s bastard you can get two titles. Dunno how he got the third barony.
2 titels. stelminiter i got from leading the other lords oxbridge is winning against the queen i think? but i do not know a darrow? or is that when you follow the king to his hunting thing with the fire and all
Since there are a few questions, I’ll just say all of them.
Stenminster - Lead the other lords in the Hastilude melee, with high enough Nobility and Courtesy you get it.
Oxbridge - Push Stephen’s claim and go after Augustine, defeating her successfully nets you the Barony of Oxbridge.
Darrow - In the new King’s Hastilude after the fire, the leader should enter the field and promise lands to anyone who beats him. A decent enough Valour lets you beat him.
Well you can sort of start to court her in chapter 1, I think it is, if you don’t go with the Duke to the hastilude. Nothing will come out of it at that moment but she will later mention it in chapter 3 if you run into her.
Yes, losing the war is necessary if you want to fight in the crusades.
@Sylfaen Thank you for helping out with the questions regarding the titles. 
I think I can address this point. First, at the time the Succession War takes place, the daughter (if there is one) is too young to marry and since the cause of the War was the lack of a legitimate heir, Stephen will need to produce one as soon as possible. Second, as the man who trained, knighted, placed Stephen on the throne, and sits on the Privy Council, your influence is already cemented on the King and the kingdom. Also, I don’t think other nobles would just sit by if someone were to make a power grab (intentional or not). of this magnitude. Third, after the War all of Stephen’s supporters are more or less in secure positions and there is no real risk of rebellion, so it would be politically advantageous to marry someone from another kingdom in order to establish an alliance.

Version 1.0.1 offers fixes to several typos, edits to some sentences for the sake of clarity and the fix to the erroneous name in the Epilogue. There was also a small edit to how the save system works.
