Hey, i got several question.
this scene happen when you encounter 3 girl after the king death, it said you will see them again, but actually you not right?
is 1 of the maiden when you choose to send letter cant be married because of hero status? is it fix that she cant be married or there is some other way?
And supposedly the last maiden should be the default wife right? why she send a letter eventhough you did not send the letter to her? Hero mother force you to marry her is you not choose anyone right?
Anyways there are so many epilogue! Nice im enjoying the variety of it. Even i got bastard legacy.
I have got one question though. In the later chapters ((POSSIBLE SPOILERS)) when my character was around 60 he lost another child and straight after my wife poisoned me. No matter what i do she always poisons me. Even if i inform her of the attack on her family (shes the northern woman, from that rebellious duke ). Any help would be appreciated as i really want to finish the story fully and not like this!

Wow. I could write a long review but I can sum it pretty quickly by saying this is one damn good game. I believe someone mentioned it above, but siding with Stephen at the three way battles is one of the most emotional and badass scenes I’ve read in a while. You honestly lapsed a little into Game of Thrones level epicness there with the whole description of the crowns and makeup of the armies. Even though I’ve never been able to win with Stephen (Has anyone won with him?) it’s still one of the more satisfying endings with the tragic ending to what would’ve been a great king. The ending you also receive if you last long enough and earned the moniker “The King’s Pit” is also pretty awesome and I hope that a certain blood feud between houses carries over to the next game.

Wow. From playtester to editor to cop. You’re moving up in the world @CaballeroDeAndromeda
@kazumakiryu You do, but it is only implied that you do. You do get a little busy for a few years after that quick meeting.
There are marriage options that require status or wealth that is practically impossible to gain. One is impossible to get no matter what you do.
There is a “default” wife, but when you think about it that is the only marriage that makes sense, because the other options would not be known to the people who force the marriage on you. You can’t remain unmarried forever when you’re trying to build a noble house
Awesome! I’m glad you liked it and hopefully you will go back to it again and again to find out everything it has to offer!
@Stanlee_Kelly Perhaps you should rethink your marriage choices or try to support someone else to the throne. There are ways past it, but I would still say that that is one of my favorite endings and just as valid as anything that lies past it.
@Iggles By all means, write as long and detailed review as you want, put it anywhere you want and I’ll be first to read it. The more critical feedback I get, the better I can make the next story. I am glad you enjoyed it and especially the battle scene. It gets easier to win the war with Stephen if you happen to have the right people at your side. I do hope you gave the losing path a try too, just remember to have some faith
there is only one thing that annoy me about the game, and is that i cant save the chapters i want… the history only return to the last chapter… i hope you make save checkpoint to atleast let us to save the game or not
I will only say that I found the taunts of King Louis the Pious extremely entertaining - I fully expected to hear them from the walls of a castle (with perhaps an occasional lobbed cow). The Valmagne language is colourful indeed!

I will add the option to the revision. It will probably take a few weeks for any of the fixes or changes I have made post-release to hit the published version, however. So keep that in mind.
A few questions:
Does getting the sword “Ulfberth” do anything? Aside from giving you a fancy sword I mean?
Is it possible to reclaim the Viscounty of Dumas? It gets bought up that if I have a son I can make a claim, and the king has it written down, nothing happens after that.
Is it possible to be promoted to the kings inner circle after the tourney?
I can confirm that you CAN win with Stephen, it’s just not the easiest thing in the world. I can give you some tips if you want.

Please. I do enjoy the fact that if you fail you fail on tragic hero level proportions, but I would like to see how Stephen turned out as a ruler.

First, you’ll want political alliances, and a larger and better equipped force (so ignore mercenaries). Then attack the flanking force. Next you WILL be required to fight yourself, so have good valour (i had over 70%). You should win the 3 way. There you go!

Wait, how do you get to even potentially make a bastard with Marguerite?
Also I found having high nobility helped you have better tactics and generally a more strategic mind. Such as using archers to cover your advance when attacking John and not having your men disorganised and exhausted. Do what @Fallaner said so you have a guarantee of a victory.

I have a few questions.
one: can you learn valmagne before getting married?
and two: is it possible to court one of those three girls you bump into in that city? (not sure which.) the shy brunette, the red head with a ‘hungry’ look in her eyes, and the formal looking dark haired girls?
Great story! Highly enjoyable. I have played through half a dozen times by now and still feel like there is so much more to experience. Great work! I am guessing a possible sequel has something to do with twins?

I highly like this story. I am almost finished. The only thing that gave me pause was my wife getting pregnant at 60.
