Lords of Aswick - Out Now!

maybe it’s another RNG thing… haha…

you have too the leader of the melee too get the first one

how?.. do you mean i need not be the hammer of norwall and be the instigator/the one that orders around?..

do you need all three?.. because since i have a bastard with my margy, i need to choose the groom my bastard son to be heir, then i chose train and better equipment and still lost…

You need to give everyone else orders, yes. If you become the Hammer of Norwall (Like my Sir James), you will not get it.

((Lol sorry for doublepost folks XD)) I’ve never had a bastard, as I always marry Cailen, so Im not quite sure, but having numbers would always be a bonus in a military field. But even with all three I had some difficulty winning (thus why my character himself had to charge into the fray.) Thus, I can only suggest that you do all 3, even if it does mean ignoring the bastard for a while, if you have a legitimate kid, at the very least. They’d be higher up on the succession ladder anyway. (I think.)

so i need courtesy for that?.. i tried it with 71 nobility and still could not get the barony… ugh… just when RNG starts to give me my bastard 4 out of 10 times, now i learn of other baronies and such… this game doesn’t want me to stop… haha…

never had the 3 baron titels myself been asking how ppl do it but can never seem too do it myself

hey almost how did you get those stats. i have never gotten them all that high

yes that goes on courtesy not sure how much though

i see… so how come he (almostinsane) got the title when you need high nobility for dumas then high courtesy for steminster but still got his valour and piety that high…

Haha, I myself don’t play to try being a completionist (…Except for marrying Cailen or winning the 3 way. If i can’t marry Cailen or win the 3 way while backing Stephen, I will restart then and there. Winning the hastilude and getting hammer of norwall on my first go were just bonuses i have made into head-canon.) and go with the flow, it feels like a much more satisfying story to me.

I get to see how my character goes with his failures, successes, and I don’t feel bad about it.

Humans have multiple layers, and their far from perfect, eventually they’ll make a mistake that really costs them.

Wow this took a LONG time to type.

haha… my OCD only activates when im playing games that i like… i want that “perfect” run that my character deserves… you don’t know how many times i tried and retried just to get my perfect run on games like sabres and daria and zombie exodus since it has sequels and i want to be in the best shape in those sequels, that i did my best… haha… oh well… in all my runs im more of a melee/leader and not the subterfuge/holy type so if i dont get those baronies, im good with dumas and oxbridge and maybe steminster if my old earl can beat young stephen whom i trained…

you only get 3th baron titel if you already have steminster from the first hastidude

if you don`t have it you get stem then

protector of dumas you get if you have a male basterd (and i think if you do get a basterd its allways male)
and you beat the guy in the duel

i have never chased earl whats his name too his home or gone after the prive counsel after the battle what happends in those too story lines?

My lord beat stephen, but he was a high valour person.

I can try, but i have difficulty enjoying any effort to do a perfect run, i want a more human run myself. It just feels like cheating human nature to me. Or maybe thats just me trying to understand why someone is living in denial over their part in our shattered relationship and instead blaming me for everything. Humans make mistakes, it feels like cheating to ignore those mistakes to me, even in games. I don’t like flawless people or characters.

The Earl gives no bonuses i think, but i like it because of a bit of the (to me) symbolic behavior. The lord leads a battle against someone who has the sterling’s help, just like their father and man they squired under. Its fitting to me and quite amazing.

oh?.. damnit… so high courtesy aka subterfuge persons always get all the titles and maybe even the queen as a lover… haha… i never take that route whatsoever, my lone high courtesy guy was so that i can experience the happiness fallaner has with cailen, and only once… haha… i’m thinking over which one ill make canon though my run with abby or with margy and dumas…

red, there was an instance in the battle with valmagne that the knights were injured and i told the soldiers to take them back to camp, does high religious stat make any difference when choosing to visit them after the battle?..

i know that… but since games are usually my escape from mundane life, i try to make the most out of it… haha… and it’s not everyday that i can find a gem of story telling and appeal like this game, so i try to enjoy them… haha… but i respect your methods too, i have those runs too, like a more human/pragmatist character that knows he can’t save them all and has to make tough choices…

not as far as i know, but i could be wrong

I can also certainly understand your method, even If i myself do not enjoy it. I have a library of custom characters I made up, and none of them are perfect. They all have personality flaws and ability flaws, and its something I like to also do in these types of games. None of my characters can be “perfect”, I do not ‘Min-max’ in games, I play a few times to see different outcomes and maybe decide upon a few I want around consistently (AKA in this game marrying Cailen and winning the 3 way with Stephen.)

Humans have flaws, and its something i like to express in all games. They also however grow, adapt, and learn from each experience. Humans will always have the ability to learn and grow from their actions, which means in games with sequels my characters will often noticeably develop. For example, my characters in Sabres tend to be more idealistic at the start, however, by the end, after years of war, they’re often a lot more cynical, but still merciful. However, with from what i’ve seen of the beta of guns, its unlikely he’ll remain very merciful, and will end up growing to be more efficient and ruthless.

Seeing all these things about different runs… nothing is better than try to make a human run… and max a stat so much, it goes beyond… what you thought was the cap.
