Competitions are tricky things. I hope you come back to the idea at another time and find your way forward with it.
I just realized I’ve been working on a game for the comp for a few days now but forgot to actually officially enter…
Well, if it’s not too late, I’d like to enter
It’s going to be interesting trying to finish both this game and the big work project I’m also supposed to deliver on the 31st. Sleep? Who needs that?
Big scene and two small but necessary scenes done. Much further along, but still not quite in view of the end.
Added some story notes to the summation scene at the end of the game to give some historical details and suggest where I may take this lumbering beast in the future.
@aetheria
Sorry for the late reply, yes happy to have you join and good luck.
Just 4 sweet days left. Want to make sure we have no Judges that might have had to dropped out.

Well, I don’t think I’ll write much but I’ll wrie something tomorow and then I’ll turn my story in
We have our first submission in, looking forward to the rest.
I look forward to checking the stories out.
I will need all the time available. Oh…how do we deliver the link for the submitted game? Is that over on the other site?
Or do we need to submit the whole “web” directory? And to whom, and how?
4 days to go?! Wow time sure is fast. Best of luck to everyone
@cottage14
When ready pm me I will send an email address to you. If there are no modifications to imdex or mygame.js then all we meed is the scene file.
@Lordirish I’m still in! Looking forward to reading everyone’s submissions.
I’m dying to read this year games lol.
Yay only 3 days to go!
No dropouts here I’m looking forward to it
Three days to go; four scenes to write AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH
Argh.
Apparently I don’t work well under a time limit? In 28 days I’ve only written three scenes, and unpolished scenes at that. I suppose I’ll submit them, for novelty’s sake, but not gonna lie, my game is plainly underdeveloped.
I still think I’ll be able to finish my game, but it’ll definitely be going in pretty close to the finish line…
Of course, I kind of have to, since its structure is such that if I don’t finish all the scenes, it won’t actually work.
I am operating on the rule of thumb that it ain’t a scene if it doesn’t have a choice. So this scene over here, which is designed to have like four choices which I don’t have time to write, is being demoted to a little two-paragraph beginning to the NEXT scene, and I am dropping those four choice stacks until more leisurely days arrive.
Simplifies meeting the deadline a whole bunch, though it flattens gameplay a bit.
