My apologies for replying to the wrong message, but navigating this forum with a screen reader is an absolute nightmare. I saw references to playing GT 2 as the MC’s child. I don’t recall that being an option when I played it some time back, and looking at it again it doesn’t appear to be an option to start. How would I do that please?

At the start, chose your MC lost the Great tournament…
Malik will be king and he will kill your MC later, then you will start to play as your MC child

He doesn’t kill the MC. You play as the child going to rescue the MC and their wife.

Cool. I have been waiting to see if an upcoming hosted games 2019 thread gets started, but maybe they are lumped in with the choice of games thread? Anyway, I stopped looking at 2018, so this one has snuck up on me.

How many words will this game have? I hope it is longer than the Great tournament series. Not saying they were short, it just that I love the author games so much that I want it to be super long

@Jerieth if you want to write a fantasy story where the player is given a job to do and can’t do anything to prevent taking that job, make him a vassal lord. The appeal of being a mercenary is freedom, which is denied by the railroading early on.
Also, I recommend breaking up Vera’s story into different paragraphs, maybe different pages. It was a bit of a wall. I chuckled at the Swamp Castle reference, btw.
