I know, but it doesn’t really count. Unless they somehow turn up later, and you can rekindle the relationship, but that would probably be super spoilery…

EDIT: And the chart is mostly because it gets confusing to talk about, with the class and gender factors changing the numbers.

Oh I think I read that after I edited it

I haven’t thought of a name yet for her (Blair maybe?Bodima? A fantasy name is nice…Battilda?), but she is a tough solder who will be hard to romance at first. She has a wall around her, though you can ‘break it’.

She may care about a lot, but doesn’t show it as she is a real pro. Duty first!

What about Bellona? Named after the roman goddess of war.

Yeah, you’re right. You’ll see them again in warrior’s background story in chapter “Hadwin’s Great Challenge” or similar…but it will be a tragic tale, so…not what you’d want.

Like i said: I’ll add in one more romance option which won’t be male or female.

Also, will add in a poll to remove all gender locks. ^^ After I introduce all the romancable characters of course!

That’s a cool name too  I’ll think about it though!

In the end, I don’t think a name should matter too much…though, I sometimes check the meanings a name has, to make the chars fitting to them. Not always, just sometimes. I don’t feel like overdoing it, if another name has a better ring to it. ^^

NOTE: I’ll be continuing the story now, adding in some minor changes + warrior origin with a family member, for those who’d rather have a little brother/female cousin, rather then a past lover.

Feel free to respond, but It may take a while before I get back to you due to passionate working!

Also, I won’t make a feel update until finishing chapter 2 for both classes. Just a reminded. I don’t want to bother you too much with minor updates anymore anyways. However, if you feel like having regular updates, you’re free to check on Dashington every once and again, as I update the text. files there quite often.

Oh, it does. It means a lot. Even if you dont realize, the impression it create is massive, and even if you dont know the meaning you feel what it means.

Honestly im not interested in playing neither dwarf nor giant; while there is elven/half-elven but i would be curious what being halfling offers, and i wonder what others think as well. Would it be too much Lords Of Ring-ish? Im not sure…

It’s a stable of the standard dnd’esque fantasy setting.
I don’t think anyone would bat an eye.

This.

Can I share a secret? I never even finished watching the first LOTR, let alone, read it lol. XD So I honestly wouldn’t know if my story is too…‘that’. I’m more of a Star Wars/Harry Potter kind of fan…and even though I know i’d probably LOVE LOTR, I just…never felt like checking it much. Not sure why. Tho, tbh, I in general am not usually too much into movies.

These are just the few races I thought would work in my story…but alright.

And I still added it in. I personally really like halflings and giants. ^^

Also; Races tend to repeat themselves in fantasy. I thought of Halflings because (as mentioned) i’d work in my story. But really, got the idea from playing them in Baldur’s Gate (Tho, i’m not gonna add orcs, and there weren’t giants there.)

Well, I’m a major fantasy fan, and I have only seen the first season of Game of Thrones, and probably won’t see the rest, and I couldn’t get through the prologue of the first book.
So, what I mean is, you’re not alone?

And Baldur’s Gate uses the 2nd edition Dungeons and Dragons system, and is set in Forgotten Realms, one of the main dnd settings, so you can’t get much more Standard Fantasy Setting than that. :relaxed:

The warrior’s origin is now fully ready, no matter if you chose a family member, or a lover. <3

Though…if you guys feel some choices lead to it being too short…tell me, and i’ll fix it.

Also, i may have set the gender codes wrongly…gonna check this now! Totally forgot.

UPDATE: Damn it! I failed on the gender coding! Gonna fix it pronto!

UPDATE2: Should work fine now, but lemme know if you stop any pronunciation errors or other! They’re usually caused by bad gender codes etc.

I just now noticed she was looking down at (player) while still up on her council seat (which is stationed above them)…so it wasn’t a mistake.

However, the giant thing should work now.

Just added in he was very tall. even for his race.

How tall is a giant in this story, anyway?

Well, they’re the tallest race. Reasonably but very visibly taller and wider then a human - to compare.

They’re not as tall as a house for example, or even taller then that (like in some fiction), they would however, in our world, have lots of trouble going through doors… xD In Ophelius, those are mostly specially made so that any race can enter however.

I guess the most are about…2.5 (small giant) or 3m tall (average giant)?

And the guard giant is larger then that…though, I’m thinking of adding in special dialogue when the rouge encounters the giant, if they are the same race.

BTW:: I’m super bad with measurement, so what I just stated - please don’t take it as100% cannon.

A friend will draw me another cover where a giant (titania) will be in. Hopefully, that will give you an idea.
