One sided love can still make for a good story though. No guarantee Iâll put this exact scenario in the game (probably wonât, doesnât sound too great), but something similar might/probably will be in based on love.
Though, to make it clear, this is not a full blown love story. This is a story of war with love flavors (if you want them there.)
You can do that. Itâs something I want to make possible. Your love known through your actions. Friendly or romantic kind, make your pick!
And since the males and non binaries already have 1 female witch, iâll probably make the second female (who also wonât be gender locked) a warrior.
And the male, probably a wizard so that itâs more fair. ^^ Sound cool?
But i still need to figure out their race, in-dept character, background etcâŚsince, fresh idea.
But keep in mind I canât make copies. So if she/he sounds too similar to one of the pre-made characters, I canât add them in. They need to deffer quite a bit.

Itâs a fantasy setting. It takes place in a world named âOpheliusâ. - inspired by âOpheliaâ, a Shakespeare-made name which means âHelpâ.
It takes place after the Gods have been âbanishedâ, the cause being magical inflection (this happened 5 years ago. Will reveal more in later chapters.).
In the year youâre play though, thereâs a war on magic users (the ârebelsâ), the anti-magic battalion being under the command of High Priestess Mairi (who is now the ruler of the lands, on the top of the Saints Council, ever since the immortal onesâ- the Godsâ - .absence).
Your PC - playable character - joins the war out of âclass reasonsâ or rather âorigin reasonsâ. They join up with the Mairi (Rougeâs reasoning being itâs the only way to clear his (SPOILER) and the warriorâs reasoning being, that a magic user was to blame for their wifeâs/husbandâs (SPOILER)âŚeither way, you can pick to be on the rebelâs side later. Up to you, really.

As for, what era or year it isâŚhave no idea yet. But there are no cars, or even steamengines.
So, itâs sorta medieval. If weâre going there lol.
I meant sheâs gonna be an âentertainerâ, as a dancer or similar, theyâll poke fun of her (some of the army man and woman) but I didnât want to reveal everything so I just went with âspecialâ entertainment, which come to think of it, sounds somewhat wrongâŚ
To clearly though, she is not going to be too happy or obliging about being an âentertainmentâ. And you can chose to âsaveâ her out of the situation.
@Tanja.K , i will give a lot of feedback containing all of the game so all of it is spoilers. Im just gonna post non-spoiler ones here.
I think having the options of ROâs in that way is a great idea to make the game replayable. But maybe you shouldnât reveal that .
The stats screen is just awesome, it needs a bit more coding but im sure you will get it done when itâs finished. Im so excited to see what it can offer, especially blacksmithingâiâm gonna go for a whole new playthrough just for it. And⌠Giants!! What, really? Not usual, but gold. That makes a whole new playthrough
The plot is really interesting as well, it kept me on my toes. The scene in the prologue was just awesome .

What I really meant by âcompanionâ though: They are major to the story, and romancable.
For a small update, the new romance option which @DUNGEON_MASTER is helping me come up, will be a female battle strategist who is in your army. - not a companion, obviously. ^^
And the male one will be a wizard (since everyone already has a romancable witch)âŚbut it wonât be Muradin sinceâŚheâs old, and someones father butâŚshhh!

So far Iâm intrigued by the concept and looking forward to seeing more of your WIP. Also in my opinion you have a good sense of the English language, but I would still recommend an editor. Would be quite useful for smoothing out some odd parts here and there to make the paragraphs flow better. Also while I like what youâre going for RO wise, Iâm still slightly disappointed in the lack of bi/gay beefy hunks for guys like me to fawn over haha. Though Iâm guessing thatâll change later
I would have love to be a witch or something but its ok. Also, there will be a choice to have more charisma rather than being extremely good at dexterity? (Talking about the rouge/Archer route)
