My MC has long hair too! I’ve been hiking with long hair (used to keep it butt-length) and it wasn’t much of a problem. I used to stuff my hair in my jacket (still do it).

My main mc lives with his mom, second one with dad. Just another difference between them. Both of them have a good relationship with their human parent, with only the normal ups and downs.
Although my second mc doesn’t like that magical mom “forgot” to include himself or his father in her will it is rather difficult to truly hate a dead woman, whereas magical dad really is a deadbeat who has no good excuses for his neglect of even the basics.
Are an important characteristic of my Nephilim mc, my second one doesn’t have them at all. Possibly the biggest difference between the two given how heavy on daddy issues this series seems to be.
Yep, while the one out of the three my mc hates most seems like she’s going to get a get out of jail free card.
If anyone of them deserved a second chance it would be Jaime, not Davina as far as both of my mc’s are concerned.
Where your mc can get annoyed with Astrid mine often has that feeling with Leon. On the other hand due to Leon being so oblivious he can more or less freely use Leon’s hair and body care products, which is good, because otherwise he would really have had to cut his own hair short.
Mara is human with hatred of magic and a hunter. With a desire of revenge from people that made her live in this nightmare place She only really likes Leon and she doesn’t believe it will end well. Her objectives first Kill Astrid and if possible kill them all the entire city to left humans alone. That’s for now maybe with games she develop any care or empathy for monsters (for her mages are literally monsters)
Mine are both mages/magi, though I’m now torn between having my second mc remain a magician or making him into a Kitsune (I blame Misao for that @peaches ).
One scene i really miss though was the option to ask Astrid where is her broom … I was really excited when Astrid said she is going to fly me away , so i chose the option " Alright… where is your broom " ? And Astrid 's reply of "We don’t use broom " was so cute… :-)
I am still fond of that old memory , thinking Astrid as a witch with a Broom to fly :-)
My first MC was a Kitsune named Kiara, my second one was a nephilim. According to the author the nephilim route has the most interesting sub-plot so I tried it out. Also, if you play as a nephilim you’ll get that cute flying lesson from Leon
There corrected it for you. Or at least that’s how my mc views the flying lessons.
My mc actually can’t wait to show his new friends and peers some human movies about magic and/or witches. If my mc can get Alty and/or Cy to come over sometime during summer break he’s absolutely got to show them some movies/series, ranging from Stardust to Harry Potter to Hocus Pocus to Sabrina the precocious teenage magical meddler and of course Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
In fact, @daydreamsincolor if you’re still taking asks could we get one where we see the reactions of Altair and Cyrus to some of our human portrayals of magic in the movies?
The silent lesbian majority on these forums should learn to speak up for itself, so yes we totally can leave out Cressy, let her own fans step up to the plate to include her.
Ugh! The only saving grace of that movie was cutie Kevin Zegers in full leather and that’s an opinion both of my mc’s share. Without that it would have been totally unwatchable and even as is I’ll avoid watching it ever again, thank you very much.
If my mc had to pick just one magical movie to show them the choice would be between one of the Harry Potter ones and Stardust, probably Stardust, because it’s not a series of movies and self-contained.
A thought just came into my mind, I wonder if we’ll ever get the chance to meet the MC’s human friends. Mostly to brag about their hot romantic interest to their old friends.
@TSSL When I mentioned detailed and unique I was referring to the main plot/lore/dating relationship ratios as you have to choose one way to spend your time sometimes, hangout with friends or get a great deal of lore. During playing, there are a few gloss over moments and cutaways that felt were very abrupt and alot of the times you get to ask like one question or response to something then the alone moment is usually over which feels less like a conversation and more of a “hey you get one!” moment. As for as non-romantic relationships go, I never mean’t they werent detailed or anything as I said in another post the characters are nice in general. Though at the same time, coupling characters together has the side effect of having to deal with characters that a player might not want any part of, rather thats from disliking personalities or lack of interest.
Far as player choice, that is totally great if others feel like whatever they did mattered and effected things, but for me: the amount of sure-fail combat choices, the partial success for times when I did something that actually worked a bit, the inner thought choices that seemed there for no reason, and the times when I was asked what I wanted to do when in the end the same event played out regardless just didn’t stick for me.
I still stick with the fact that the world and lore written is top-tier and while I believe the “one question” moments and romance initialization could use some work, you can clearly see the talent here. Others seem to be loving it so its obviously on the right track so the author is definately doing just fine.
@WA2000 I used the starbursts since physicality seems futile for my nephilim playthrough I was trying to do and also since my school learning included weapons training apparently and it said it hit them so in none of my choices during that test did it say I got hurt. Also, I could be wrong but I don’t recall seeing any prices for the equipment. I eventually got through on a time I just used the shield for the gnomes and the first attack from the manticore then lightining blasted it for the finish when I just gave up on the fighting stat and did an intelligence run instead.
This was the “punch” option only, apologies for the miscommunication. But I understand your point regarding the fighting stat seeming less useful, and I will be certain to add more fighting stat opportunities in the sequel! (Again, if there are any specific places where a successful fighting option would work, please let me know and I would be happy to add it!)

MC can save Kol if they choose to: keep Reyna talking with cunning or intelligence >= 25; tell her to stop with willpower >=25; fight her with fighting >=25; or break the runes on the cuffs with ritual magic >=15 and elemental >=15.

A lot of every say magic use comes from ritual magic “spell kits” that are made/purchased and then activated by the magic user. This will be explained more in the sequel, especially on the ritual magic major route.

Take an account I am playing with a human hunters that negates all magic except control and desire revenge for being forced being there and destroy her life. You did an amazing job allow being pissed with magic but in my opinion I miss more hatred to mages.
Don’t take this as a real request or anything but a thing that comes to mind since there are weapons already that use anti-magic/tech, a pair of gloves/gauntlets that work with the wearer’s abilities. It would fit well with the background in sports since a fighter using those could still benefit from techniques used in boxing/wrestling/other martial styles. You clarified that the fighting stat works for athletic actions such as escaping but punching doesnt work cause your not fighting normal beings, the only thing an athletic person would need is the power behind those punches since they already would be trained in movement and everything.
Yeah. It’d be interesting to see how all the ROs would react to fantasy movies. I’m 99% sure that all of them would disapprove of it and only Katia would think it was interesting.
