Planescape was absolutely bonkers good. It had the graphical issue of having a very small play area on the screen and everything was very big (and also a bunch of content never made it to the final version), but it was otherwise amazing.
It also had a ridiculous voice cast. Michael T. Weiss. Jennifer Hale. Dan Castellaneta. Mitch Pileggi. Sheena freaking Easton!
I loved Arcanum, but all I remember from it now is that my Bride of Frankenstein run was funny and brought Virgil much suffering. One day I’d like to write an interactive story that uses a similar optional backgrounds setup.
Planescape Torment is the game I was thinking of. I think I remember Arcanum, now. I played a dwarf and everyone I spoke to kept harassing me for being a dwarf. Not the same as Baldurs Gate, which used the same game engine but which I played at least a thousand hours.
We’re already a week into June?! How did that happen?
Life has been BUSY and I haven’t had a ton of time to write, but I’m still making progress on Ink and Intrigue, albeit very slowly. I’m nearing the end of chapter 7 and hoping to get most of chapter 8 written this month.

Mixture of good news and bad news.
Good news: Falrika the Alchemist is now formally in an upcoming local gaming convention as part of the indie game showcase.
Bad news: An old acquaintance of mine from a long-defunct anime forum has passed away a few days ago, and I learned of it today.
Oh no, my condolences on your loss. 
So far it’s been a good week for me. Even though I had a ton of afterwork events I had forgotten I said yes to this week, I still managed to write almost double of my (admittingly small) word goal for each week. And since my deadline for this week is tomorrow I might be able to make it more than double my goal. I might look into increasing my goal for next week.
Coming to the end of the week, I’ve made good progress on coding the last two chapters of Honor Bound. It’s a lot of upfront work, doing it like this for two whole chapters, but I think it’ll make it easier when it comes to writing. I’ve still got some work to do, especially on Chapter 11, but I’ve fixed various bugs (including one from Chapter 8 that I hadn’t spotted before now!) and it passes QuickTest and RandomTest.
Fridays are often busy for me and this one is especially so, so I may do my usual fortnightly progress report over the weekend.

So I used a phrase in my WIP, and now I’m thinking it might be too American. Can the non-Americans tell me, is the phrase “Jack and Jill bathroom” something that makes no sense?
I’m an American and I am not familiar with the phrase. I would guess it means a gender neutral bathroom.
As a non-American, yes. Very confusing. I imagine a significant portion of people (especially non-natives) won’t be familiar with the term.
I would understand something really different to be honest. It is not clear

Is it something where there are two bedrooms with a shared bathroom between them? (am a UK person, I think I’ve heard the phrase before from a US source but wouldn’t feel at all confident defining it)
Yeah, I figured it was confusing 
. I’ll change the wording. For those who don’t know, it’s a bathroom shared between two bedrooms. I think the phrase comes from the idea that the bathroom is split between the boys room (Jack) and the girls (Jill) in a house.
