I’ve just learned that the illustrator who did the art for Tally Ho won’t be able to do the art for this game, which is too bad! Now I’m searching for someone else who can do the crisp, cartoony, comic-but-elegant style that I’m looking for. I didn’t see anyone in the current stable of CoG illustrators who hit me as exactly right. Open to suggestions if you know anyone.

Or you can look on more artsy sites likes deviantart, I think there might be few cartoon artist who do commissions in the sort of style you’re looking for there.
@Isa was chosen by @hustlertwo for his recently submitted work. I could not find Isa’s portfolio but I remember she had several different style samples to showcase her work.

To build off what Eiwynn said about Isa, I was not only quite happy with the art she did for the project, but also her passion for IF and this community that came through both in her posts and chatting with her on WhatsApp. I included links to where some of the art I will be using was posted on my thread; I don’t have access to all of it right now since I’m at work, but that should be enough to see if her style is what you seek. Personally, I enjoyed working with Isa quite a bit and fully intend to do so again, both with my next IF and whatever other projects may come down the pipe.
I should also point out that the pacifier was her idea; I had not thought about the art for the app icon, and figured it would just be a close-up of something from the main cover. But she suggested the pacifier and sure enough, I think it’s the perfect small image to still capture what the story is and remain recognizable at that tiny of a scale.

Actually, I know those examples do not represent that cartoony style you are going for. But I am not locked to a style, I can get into cartoony without hesitation or problems and frankly I adore the artwork that your illustrator did on Midsummer Night’s Choice (and I assume Tally Ho!, too) and had it as a screen saver for quite some time haha. So I’d absolutely be up for simply drawing an example image in the preferred style ( which is not very professional to suggest, but to be honest Midsummer Night’s Choice was the first IF I read and it made me fall in love with the genre as a whole and it (even if you know how it is not your best work anymore since Tally Ho! surpasses it) still remains my favourite CoG title because I played it with my best friend (I took the time to translate everysingle screen to her into German!) and it was a wonderful shared experience.
So damn.
I’d be SO up for being your illustrator, and give me a description of an example scene and I will fix up a good goofy and charming cartoon scenery that resembles the Tally Ho! style.
So to say it in the words of the Cakes and Ale era:
I’m not some lollygagging, bushwa sputtering egg.
So don’t take any wooden dimes 
give me a scene, and I will prepare a style example for it specifically!
((I know that the stuff on instagram is not the style you are looking for :D))

This is not a serious answer, but my brain read that ingredients list and immediately said, “An Absolute Atrocity.” I applaud your mind for coming up with something that sounds like the absolute it’s-the-end-of-the-uni-year-and-I-can’t-bring-this-booze-home-to-my-parents, bottom of the cupboard Worst™ cocktail ever. Goodness gracious. The tomato juice clinches it.

I’m guessing that something like “The Firesuffer” is a bit too on-the-nose, huh? 
I don’t know anything about fancy drinks, but seeing you list everything that goes on that just made me start shaking my head in disbelief.

Mine’s an elder futhark rune, which isn’t manageable, but if you start mishmashing names from the rest of us you could get something workable. Poison Hustler? Vertigo Cannon?
