Into Infamy [WIP + DEMO - 20/5]

Or he could write a rocket launcher into your hands and rocket jump out.

Ah, no! Sorry for the confusion. There are two male ROs and two female ROs, with potential for more to be added in the future.

Romances play a large part in the game. All ROs are also companions, so their dialogue, etc. changes depending on your relationship statistic with them. If you have too low a relationship stat, they may outright refuse to give you vital information. Most CoGs don’t focus as much on relationships, whereas I’m trying to make relationships (romantic and platonic) an integral part of the game.

I have some questions, one can we be alien ourselves or are we just human and 2, can we be a shepherd (reference)

Also i want alien romance and dat character creation!

Poor choice of words on my part. My apologies.

No alien playable characters in this game, unfortunately. I have a deadline, so I had to cut out many alien interactions. If I have some time left over, I’ll add them back in.

So will this be under the CoG label or are we talking a personal deadline?

Personal deadline! I wish I was good enough for a CoG.

I love the idea btw, but dont rush and make a mess, ive played wip’s that had great ideas but rushed it for the deadline.

Like what alliebee said, the deadline helps me with motivation. I have numerous other projects I’d like to complete, and I know myself well enough that if I don’t have a deadline, I’ll procrastinate and Infamy wouldn’t be complete until next year.

In other news, worked through the block! An update should be up by the week.

Just-past-mid-May update. Obligatory rough draft, etc.

I also have an issue with line breaks following *if statements or *fake_choice with a choice descriptor. Hmm.

I got the same error as faewkless

Wilson freezes. He knows what you’re asking - what you’re saying. The pen dangles, forgotten between his fingers. “You know that old saying? Don’t ask things you don’t want to know? This falls into that, Nikki.”

“Wilson, this is my job. If you’re doing something that means I have to worry-”

“I’m not acting of my own accord, if that’s what you’re worried about, Nikki.”

Ah. You exhale, a drawn-out sound that punctuates the sudden tension. “Orders from above?”

“Aye.”

On this page I wasn’t sure if there was supposed to be the same phrase written twice. This is amazing btw, now if I could just gotta figure out how to get inside people’s pants…

That’s…odd. I think this link should fix it.

What phrase are you referring to?

(And romance proper will be in the next update! :grinning:)

I have a question.
Why does being a grandmaster raise our political savvy.
Vari Able hates politicians.

Chess has very often been used to describe international politics. And going off my personal experience with competitive chess, some of those folks get political. I’ve always figured someone who is good at chess would be good with politics to a certain degree, regardless of their opinions on politicking.

Woah, I stand corrected. I misread the bejebus out of that sentence. It’s not restating itself.

Demo update should be up by next week. Someone kick me if it’s not.
