Yep! Difference of swapping to them as men instead of women. My brain switches off from being remotely interested in them. Soon as I did. Wow, why was I wanting Seven in my first test? It was also pre-change writeup.
G as a girl I even flirted with cause I liked some of her style and attitude. G as a man and I wince at ever been attracted to G as a woman. It’s funny how swapping the gender causes me to wipe my glasses easier to see clearly. No idea what I was doing I guess.
Oriana is my melting pot. Unlike any in past write and new write. Oriana made me melt instantly. G, Seven, August never did.
O latest pov reminded me why I can’t do Seven’s romance. It’s like witnessing an adult talking to a child and their age difference isn’t that big, I know O can be intimidating but c’mon Seven.
Then we have Blake and O… and it’s perfection! love their dynamic.
And listen I love G but gosh I’m tired of all the drama that mess of a marriage drags the MC into, and we’re only on ch.3!!! I’m never going to stop being salty with V for forcing me to go to that damn penthouse.
For real though, I always tell Viktor that I was forced to go with Vic, I’m not sticking my neck out for them, sorry, not sorry. And as much as I love G, and I’m romancing them, I told them we should stay away from each other (I can’t wait for G to fail miserably). I’m growing even more tired and frustrated by the cheating allegations reading all these povs the way SV jumped to point fingers for some reasons irritated me way more than UWB.
This is really refreshing to read, because I’m planning to romance G but also there’s no way in hell I’m not speaking up about that lmao. I may love G, I find them extremely fun, but I’m not going to get dragged for something I didn’t want to take part in.
Not people losing hope already when we’re only about to start ch4 out of… 20 chapters?? I cannot imagine the absolute rollercoaster of emotions I’ll suffer.
Is it actually going to be that many chapters because having an IF with a wordcount in the millions is terrifying… but beautiful.
August is a sweetheart who is willing to interact with my MC on camera, and I just love them! Definitely my #1 love interest choice.
But more importantly for the drama! Having Seven as an ex that my MC is still in love with through the book, will no doubt be pushed away for many chapters; and it’s going to pay off when the romance lock-ins comes, because I’m absolutely going to stop my MC from pursuing Seven right at the last second and push them into the understanding and attractive arms of August.
I just know that successfully romancing a band member of ours will be that much more gut wrenching for Seven.
Also, it’s funny to imagine all the melancholy love songs they will write about us after the show ends that Avina will have to pretend aren’t driving them absolutely insane lol.
ROTFLMAO! That last line set off the contrarian in me, making me want to defend 7, but it’s too accurate, so
It’s funny with Seven–I have one MC to romance 7, and it’s the only run where 7 is a guy. It’s also the only run where my MC gives a rat’s ass about 7 and mopes constantly (albeit inwardly) about him. The rest just avoid 7 and they’re basically a non-entity (save for Riley, who misses her bff). Sometimes, I change 7 to male in other routes, and it causes nothing but trouble.
On G…
My main MC was going to be a G-mancer. After seeing the sneak peek on tumblr today, I’m done with that route. Riley has enough people shitting on her and abusing her–she doesn’t need it from G. She thought G cared, but all G cares about it G. So he can go fuck himself. She’ll probably just break over that, since now no one is on her side.
Same. I’m just hoping splitting from the band doesn’t ruin the MC’s chances with O. My MCs will tolerate the band for the competition, but they want out afterward. I’m sick of the band, except for August and O.
For me, O really is looking like the only viable RO other than Seb, at this point, at least among the male LIs (I don’t count Dakota or Luca since they have set endings, and those are almost guaranteed to be bad, lol).
Same. The cheating allegations were bad enough before, but going to that stupid diner is causing the MC’s complete ruin and alienation. Yes, G pushed going to the diner, but none of that would’ve happened had V not been so pushy. The worst part is that they take a wrecking ball to the MC’s life and go on their merry way because they’re rich and famous.
G doesn’t give a damn. All G cares about is G. We should’ve listened when Amy said G would ruin anyone to save themselves, because that applies to the MC, too. If Blake wasn’t such a prick and cared abotu something other than destroying the MC, it would be fun to team up with him to ruin G. But there’s one more person who shits all over the MC for fun.
As I said before, the cheating allegations will never stop plaguing the MC. There’s no way in hell Amy will have that fade into the background when it can be used to torture the MC for the entirety of the story. Any time it seems to ease up and the MC “proves” they’re good at singing and songwriting, something else will happen to drop the cheating anvil on the MC’s head. We may as well resolve ourselves to it. It’s just a matter of how our MCs deal with it–do they break from being isolated and unjustly accused or do they get stronger from it? My emotionless (on the surface) MC may be the one who deals with it the best–she’ll just keep writing her songs and performing the best she can, while refusing to show a crack in her stony facade no matter how many times people throw her under buses or kick her in the head.
Not to excuse Avinas behaviour but Avina only knows the story from Seven’s perspective not MC’s, so for Avina is everything about Tsun-Tsun-7 and MC black and white
But you are right, Avina needs therapy and that as fast as possible
Do you really think Avina would care, even if they knew the whole story? And do you think the “whole story” will do anything to make 7 unjustified in their anger and hurt? I don’t think hearing MC’s side of things would do anything to change Avina’s feelings about it all.
From what we’ve seen, the MC is the villain in all of this. Hell, even Amy said on her tumblr that she’d feel the same way in 7’s shoes, so that pretty much tells you who’s at fault here.
But for Avina, even if the MC was blameless in the stuff that went down (and they are not blameless), MC will always be the villain and 7 will be the victim. Yes, their obsession with 7 is unhealthy (and I still fucking hate them), but they aren’t necessarily wrong to crucify the MC over how things went down between them and 7. Maybe the game being a MC abuse simulator is simply payback for them not standing up for 7, who founded the fucking band with them.
I’m not even going to pretend that sneak peek didn’t hurt. I guess this happens if you tell them to stay away, and G is acting accordingly. I need more context to decide how I feel. I’m blaming Viktor for the time being. Look at me going full Avina to defend G
The cheating allegations are one thing but the ‘cheating with V’ storyline is something else entirely. I guess, in a way, is to use V’s character more story wise, but seeing the aftermath is infuriating, to say the least. I just want the MC to take a break for once, is that too much to ask? yes it is!
I took the scene to mean G is doing that no matter what, but if it’s just if you tell them to stay away, it won’t be so bad (Riley didn’t have the heart to say that to G, and she couldn’t stay away even if she wanted to).
What I don’t get is how being seen with V equates to MC cheating their way onto the show (and, apparently, the win in the first week, which no one except 7 seems to think they deserved). Does no one have deductive reasoning?
Being seen with G would’ve been one thing, since people could say the MC banged G to get onto the show and is procuring a win by putting out (still ridiculous, given that it’s G, but understandable, at least), but Vic? Seriously, what the fuck power is Vic supposed to have to “help” the MC? SV and Blake take the Vic/MC thing to mean that it’s definite that they cheated their way into the show, as if Victoria controls the fucking show. It’s stupid.
And, as much as I hate Viktor, he wasn’t wrong for hiding G’s presence. It’s not just about protecting G, but if MC was seen with G, Viktor would have to throw MC off the show, for no other reason that it would look like they are cheating and G is compromised and cheating to help the MC. It would’ve hurt the MC even more than the Victoria thing, and would’ve hurt G and the show, to boot. Viktor really did the best thing for everyone, even if it threw Victoria and MC under the bus.
Anyway… I would like the MC to get a break once, too, but it’s not going to happen. This game is just a MC abuse simulator–it’s just a really well-written one! Each chapter, things get worse for the MC, and I don’t see that ever stopping.
Yeah this was my first thought too, that however that situation with G at the end of ch. 3 went down will alter their behavior…with G being super literal in that scene by staying away lmao. Amy mentioned on tumblr that if you did choose the ‘stay away’ option that its apparently really devastating for G so maybe thats playing into it. Maybe something else happens in ch.4 that causes it, Viktor comes to mind as well. Could also be G simply being a little shit too regardless of friend/romance status. That out of context sneak peek just makes me so excited for G’s route, like nonono G we’re getting to the bottom of this.
Same though my MCs frustration lessened a fraction when Vic did actually admit out loud that it was her who dragged MC from the photoshoot and started the whole mess in the first place. Not that it matters or helps at that point but oh well lol the accountability is appreciated.
Read the latest pov’s and lmao. Avina was barely present and I still felt the massive 2nd hand embarrassment they often give me. Was kinda fun to finally see a moment of 7 getting visibly frustrated with SV and it taking them all by surprise…cant wait for more friction to build.
If Viktor orders them to do so, I could see G behaving this way to a MC who didn’t push them away.
He really is. I wonder if he’s that misogynistic with Corey, or if it’s just with the “talent”. In a way, I could see him respecting Corey, since she does her job well and doesn’t need her hand held every step of the way.
The funny part is that, watching G/V bickering, I can understand Viktor’s frustration, and why he treats them like children. They both act like children (sorry Victoria, but these are the consequences of your actions). Plus, they allow that treatment. And Viktor can easily manipulate G with the “you’d be in the gutter, were it not for me” spiel. G never stands up for themself like an adult would, and resorts to childishness, like he’s still a 16-year-old kid who got caught sneaking out of the house.
The one thing I wish would come out of all of this is both SV and MC’s bands break up and go their separate ways (though my MCs would like to keep O and August). Even if the MC ends up homeless and living in a ditch, I would be doing a happy dance if Seven left SV and broke all contact with Avina for good. Won’t happen, but a girl can dream…
Maybe it will happen, who knows, we are only in chapter 3 and I have hopes that Tsun-Tsun-7 will break up or that TT7 and A. both understand that this friendship is very unhealthy and both find the help they need. but it will take time and I will see it through to the end xD
Same, though then they wouldn’t talk to anyone except Orion, Seb, Maya, and August. I can live with that, though!! It’s only chapter 3 and I’m already sick of everyone always shitting on the MC.
But yeah, Avina is going to be in 7’s life for eternity.
That’s also a possibility. I’m still hoping that G’s romance is more of the bittersweet kind, with lingering glances, conflicting feelings, hard to stay away from one another, even if you said otherwise, maybe silent support from afar for some time idk. I suppose that’s reserved for Seven’s route though I guess is still possible with G as well. I just hope G doesn’t start acting like Seven and being mean for no real reason but rather they try to understand the MC. I know they feel hurt that, after trying to stop Viktor, the MC tells them to back off but that sneak peek is brutal.
Avina is the embodiment of 2nd hand embarrassment.
That’s also what I hope, not that I really care if Avina gets better or not, but I do wish for Seven to heal and understand how unhealthy that friendship is.
Any sane person would feel the same way, and I think once we reach the vote part many people will have a problem trying to justify the MC not leaving with Seven or saying whatever was said during the party.
