That was me and I stand by it. Like Seven is so focus on their own hurt that, as far as we know, they never stop to think for a moment how everything has impacted the mc or how they still being so abrasive might affect the mc. That’s also why I would love the game to track mc that have changed in demeanour/behaviour after the breakup and for Seven to start seeing those changes and acknowledge them instead of the mc having to explain how they were also hurt. But will see how the author handles it.
I believe it’s fair to state that Avina replaced the MC in a less significant way, whereas Rowan replaced Seven in a less significant way. Avina will never be a full-fledged replacement for the MC; Seven doesn’t even open up to them the way they’ve opened up to the MC, and Rowan could never totally replace Seven. Our connection with Seven was a multitude of many different dynamics: lover, best friend, sibling, and so on, and their mother is our pseudo-mother. Avina and Rowan, as far as we know, are not as close to them as the MC and Seven formerly were. In terms of Avina and Seven’s romance, I don’t believe Avina is on Seven’s radar in that way, whether they have a crush on Seven or not.
How so Rowan is no more interested in mc than anybody else from what we got thus far. They’re definitely not a replacement romance so if the mc and Seven were exes nobody replaced Seven for the MC the way Avina replaced mc for Seven. Unless this is all beyond the Patreon paywall and I don’t know it.
Yeah, but I don’t think that’s a replacement, that’s just having friends. MC and Seven were MC and Seven. Avina and Seven are Avina and Seven. Rowan and MC have their own friendship outside of Seven. The dynamics, even if they’re similar, are still not all that comparable apart from it being a reminder of what MC doesn’t have anymore. They’re the outsider now, which is something I (me, personally, no one has to feel the same way) find compelling. Seven and MC’s relationship is so odd, I want to put it under a microscope and study it.
I think people are saying rowan bc if you choose to share a bus with seven you can make them jealous by saying for rowan to sleep in bed with your mc lol
In a general sense. We’re not as close to Rowan in the way we were to Seven. Their mother (to our knowledge) isn’t calling us up wishing us congratulations, providing any parental advice or substitution for our own parents the way Lucy will and has. Avina isn’t a replacement in the romantic factor either, Seven doesn’t seem to view them that way from what we have seen. Personally, I’m not sure what’s on the Patreon as of right now. The bed sharing is a good point from @parisgracex
I’m using the word replacement because that’s the terminology most people were using above and comparing the relationships. I doubt the relationships are the same in terms of personality traits that we would have to factor in.
Mhm! It’s a replacement in a generalized sense, I guess, but I don’t personally consider it a replacement, which is why I said I felt bad calling Avina that, which spiraled, unfortunately for me. That’s my bad. Sorry for not being clearer, y’all!
Oh! Okay, that makes sense; you’re fine. I don’t believe you spiraled anything; you just gave us more to discuss.
Yeah, but I was snappy, haha. It’s not cool. Sorry @EvilChani
I think it’s more about the fact that Seven wants to hurt the MC than not being able to figure it out. Look at how they behave–they want to hurt the MC, that much is clear. It’s why they’re mean, why they lash out when the MC is nice and assume the MC is trying to tick them because they literally see the MC as a damned demon. So they want to hurt them. Probably for revenge, but also just because that’s how much they fucking hate the MC, that any contact they have with the MC is them trying to hurt the MC as much as possible.
With Blake, it’s not personal. He just wants to flat out destroy the MC to help himself. With Seven? Totally personal. it’s not about Seven helping Seven, it’s about Seven hurting the MC in any way they can. I think he’d be happy to see the MC crash and burn in this competition, even if they and their band lost, too. The worse things are for the MC, the happier Seven will be.
And the funny part is that, on tumblr, Amy said she’s holding Seven back from being even meaner. For now, anyway.
I wouldn’t hold my breath. Seven can’t see past their hatred of the MC and wanting them gone so they never have to look at them again. I suspect Seven is going to get a lot nastier, and if the MC wants to romance them, it’s going to be on them to chase them down and beg for forgiveness. And forget getting any care for their own hurt. In fact, that seems to be a running theme with the whole lot–everyone is damaged and really doesn’t give a rat’s ass about the MC’s pain, so the MC can either be self-focused, too, or just hurt and try to help others while they’re dying inside.
This is Seven we’re talking about here. If they believed romancing Alina would hurt the MC more, they’d be all over it. They’re already really close to them. And, in many ways, I think they’re closer to Alina than they ever were to the MC. The flashback thingy on Patreon actually showed them not to be as close as Savina are. I’m guessing Savina is going to be canon, for an unromanced Seven, and Alina will be a rival–or at the very least a stumbling block, with them reminding Seven how much MC hurt them and is bad for them–if Seven is romanced.
Alina isn’t in a romance with Seven yet. Patreon just showed a scene after Seven joined the band and showed Alina as being interested (my take on it) in Seven, and Seven already leaning on them them in a way they apparently did with the MC, so they’re very close.
As far as no one being interested… since you aren’t on Patreon, I think I can at least say this… if you are silently interested in Orion, he seems to notice you. G and V seem interested in their own way, even if it comes off differently. I haven’t figured out G’s deal, even with the Patreon stuff, but there’s something there that they see in the MC, something beyond them using the MC to keep Blake out. Blake is attracted in their own way to the MC, too, they just want to destroy them–so definitely an enemies to lovers thing, if it goes that far, what with it being an incomplete romance.
No problem. I didn’t even take it that way and thought it was just a friendly argument! So we’re cool.
Aw, I’m glad! I didn’t want you to feel like I was targeting you or anything
I think there are certain lines Seven won’t cross (for example when the mc talks with their parents Seven knows what’s going on but doesn’t rub it in, they just pretend there’s bad signal) and I don’t think they would use someone they care so much about like Avina just to hurt the mc.
This is my very biased opinion but I think Avina has/had a secret crush on Seven and hasn’t made any move because Seven is still into the mc and/or Avina doesn’t want to have a repeated scenario where Seven leaves the band if things don’t work out or Avina just knows Seven is with this mysterious person that now I can’t stoping thinking about. You guys have ruined me with this new knowledge and my mind has spiralled into thinking that Seven might also have a secret child😂
This is just me going bonkers please don’t mind me. Edited my post to make it clearer but I meant the knowledge of this mystery person.
Isn’t it? He’s upset with us for “cheating,” knowing full well that G had a hand in our victory, but he’s not targeting G, but the MC and their band. It appears that they’re really ignorant, that it’s personal for them, but that it will eventually benefit us when they uncover the reality behind the cheating scenario.
If we want to hate Seven or have mutual animosity, I believe it will all come to a head eventually with them having an argument about the voting, the band, and the party, letting their anger and aggression out, but both of them coming to the realization that they both messed up and hurt each other whether they meant to or not. We may then reconcile once the humiliation, hurt, and guilt have left their system and apologies have been communicated. So far, this game appears to have several possibilities, therefore I believe there may be multiple methods for us to romance Seven, and being an asshole in the beginning may still work.
Could you please list the ways you believe this is the case? Apparently, the MC and Seven slept together as well; they relied on one another emotionally and physically, Seven opened up to the MC which is the reason they don’t open up as much to Avina, and Seven’s mother is our pseudo-mother. Until I see something stating that Lucy treats Avina as if they’re one of her own, I’m not buying that Avina is closer to Seven than the MC.
I have a hard time believing that whatever happened at that party can justify the way that immature brat hates the MC and is acting now. Like the MC gotta have said the most degenerate, diabolical evil shit possible for it to make sense.
Justify? No. Explain? Yes.

I also thought that too…
The only thing I could imagine the MC saying that would genuinely upset Seven would be them bringing up personal issues that Seven had confided in the MC. Perhaps they brought up their relationship with their father or compared them to their father. It would explain why Seven doesn’t want to be so open with most people anymore.
That was my thought exactly, but I truly hope not.
So I’m not completely crazy
Btw for sevens secret I think Blake knows as they make an ominous comment during the photoshoot scene…so I think it could be public knowledge among the music scene. Then again, wouldn’t mc have heard? Idk just a thought haha
