I tried opening my choice Script file in Chrome and got a message saying there was a script error and it won’t load the file??
Also when opening in IE I get this message:
“This game requires JavaScript; please enable JavaScript and refresh this page”
with a button at the bottom of screen to allow blocked content. clicking this button starts the game. Why does it do this??
Chrome doesn’t work with loading games locally (someone more tech would have to answer why, although the why is less important than the fact that it just doesn’t).
Forcing you to enable JavaScript is a security feature of most browsers. To put it in simple terms: CS can be downloaded anywhere, and there’s no way for your browser to check that it’s a ‘safe’ file you intended to open, so it essentially just double checks that you know what you’re doing.
If you’re looking for a browser then I suggest Firefox, it hasn’t given me any problems and I do all of my testing and what not on it.
