I, the Forgotten One Release Thread (1.2)

Yup, that was easily worth some 3 leadership points for a warm/inexperienced Elya. Her final thoughts make it pretty obvious.

She never know how to lead people or army.it make us get advantage from this situation. Have very hight change to win her and can minimum damage from her

Wellā€¦yes I just teach her important lesson haha. Wellā€¦In Ending 1,Rade easier to depose her ,Maybe Marshall does too haha

There are two ways of telling her to grow up: telling her that she needs to woman up and be a queen in order to stop people from dying on the Chapter 4 march (which any Marshal can do), or tell her that sheā€™s got it easy in her tent and people are dying while she sits and cries and makes carbon dioxide (only high Envy Marshals get this).

@Zaya27477 The world of ITFO has a big taboo against kinslaying according to the author. The Marshal only got away with Vedranā€™s possible death because it was a one-on-one do-or-die self defense situation (and there were only two witnesses, one of which dies if you kill Vedran). So they can kill each other, but it will hang over the survivor for the rest of their lives. Happy game, this one!

It would be anti-climatic if it was Rade that wins over Elya, the story wouldnā€™t feel right. The two siblings should sort it out in the battlefield.

But I agree with you that Low Leadership Elya will be easier to deal than one with higher leadership, I think even the writer confirmed that.

Well ā€¦If she war with us so it will give us excuses to kill her .

In that path, I donā€™t think there is any other way do end the story than one of the siblings killing the other.

Maybe there is another way to deal it.well this story is dark anyway.

Thereā€™s lot of ways to resolve the conflict for people who arenā€™t just bloodthirsty psychopaths. The Marshall putting Elya in prison instead of outright killing her would be a big fucking hint. As is potentially imprisoning Vedran, despite him having the same kind of conflict with Elya.

Putting her back where she escaped from and making a better job guarding her? The whole talk how sheā€™s a bigger threat etc etc effectively means Marshall is simply too scared of a 16 year old to let her live.

Also, who says that one side cannot be eventually convinced to give up their claim? Vedran can see the reason, if the Marshall ainā€™t a total dick to him.

Thatā€™s why i said ā€œand guard her betterā€. How incompetent would you have to be to have a kid escape your jail twice?

Wellā€¦we have to reason to kill her.just wait
for good chance Haha

She is more threat even she in jail.In Ending 1 Rade quick to depose her because he know if let Elya live.Elya will come to take throne back, another civil war .It is morbid business but necessary for save your throne. If you want save your power ,you need to cut your morality because only way that you can save your throne.well.become tywin 2.0

So after she escape and grow an army for her to be the Queen, how can it be solved without blood? The Marshall will not give up the crown and neither will Elya, while one is alive they will always be a threaten to the otherā€™s reign.

i donā€™t think being unmarried will give her much advantage and mc is also unmarried.many will want to put their daughter and sister as queen of kanton. i would like to play rain of castamere card on noble house who support her.

Me too

MC has just demonstrated theyā€™ll happily betray even their own sister. No one in their right mind is going to believe thereā€™s any advantage in marrying such person. Thereā€™s no gain in getting used and betrayed at first opportunity.

It amazes me that for a game with a central theme of the brutalities and horrors of war and how much it affects those involved in it there are people being so bloodthirsty in these comments. Did we read the same story?

And give her the opportunity to escape and do it again? That is beyond foolish, I donā€™t know why monarch who would do that to a sibling that waged war on them.

There is no trust between the siblings anymore. Vedran can only see it because he saw that he was powerless, that is very different from what both Elya and Marshall will be in the sequel.

thatā€™s not how politics and things work.
thatā€™s not something new. that always happens in history when brother overthrow other brother. nobles care about their self interests.no one is going to fight for losing side.

But If low Elya prove them she can not lead people or army or have change to win Marshall.I think noble willing abandoned her .I think Noble donā€™t want to die for who lead them to hell

Yes, but different people will read the same thing and reach different conclusions. There is nothing strange in that.

War is brutal ,not Lavender flied.War full with lie , betrayal, greedy even backstabbing. War between siblings. It is real thing in Royal Medieval Era.
