I, the Forgotten One—Battle a rebellion and your own inner demons!

Ah I apologize then I largely read via steam and the warning on there mentions Homophobia and Discrimination.

I’m not blaming you and I apologize if it came off that way. I was just pointing out that most game descriptions should only be judged on a literal sense and especially with games published by this company (Specifically the Hosted Games part) where it seems each individual game should be judged individually in all aspects as there is no relative consistency. I agree that it is misleading from a general consumer perspective and that there should have been, at some point of the review of the product, someone who pointed this out as a potential issue with the description especially because it seems that the descriptions can change depending on the vendor platform. However even with that it is not false advertising. That was all I was pointing out

Yeah, I got what you were saying. I am just sad that I was mislead and supported something that I don’t want to support. I saw someone on reddit mentioning that the author included gay RO for men only because people on forums asked them to, but didn’t bother to add f/f RO apparently. I don’t want to support that kind of exclusivity. And I wouldn’t have if I knew that. That is why I am disappointed and feeling deceived into purchasing something I don’t want to support.

I don’t know the validity of this but if it does make you feel…maybe not better but satisfied? Bacon is planning to include a romance into the second book as the sequel involves more politics and talking with nobility than the first which was largely focused around marching in war. The main reason he didn’t include an F/F romance though is because there were no characters for it considering the setting and the one female that is present has her sexuality written into her base character so it wouldn’t fit to change it as it would be a change to the characterization itself. I understand the disappointment and understand you may not like the circumstances of the story, but the story itself is a good one and should you decide to judge it on that alone I think that it is a good one.

I see your point. I do. But this kind of “you get nothing in first book, but MAYBE you’ll get something in the second” (because author didn’t say that f/f RO is set in stone for the second book) - that doesn’t fly with me. That should have been specified from the beginning. Then I would have known that and waited for the second book to judge if I want to purchase them or not, based on what kind of content will be there.

Fair enough, I don’t entirely agree because personally romance is always minor for me. But I understand your point.

I get it, people play this kind of games for different reasons. It is important for me, and sometimes is a deciding factor for will I purchase the game or not.

Depends on the army composition, but in general put your retinue in the center, put your rangers in the backline, use your heavy cavalry to fight off the enemies cavalry, use the archers to scare away the enemy archers and then use them to pelt the enemy infantry. If you used both cavalry to hold off the enemy you should be able to send your light cavalry to flank the enemy and hit their backlines.

I’ve read so many choice of games and hosted games. And this by far, is the greatest I’ve ever read.

The missing Lada feels hit me last night so I once again played I, The Forgotten One. Still one of the bests out there and Lada is still one of the best girls ever :relieved:.

Also I hope it’s okay to drop an opinion about Lada being an RO for just straight male MCs. I think it would be best if you (the author, @Bacondoneright, of course) just create a new female RO for female MCs in book 2. Lada’s perfect the way she is and she wouldn’t feel as genuine if she becomes bi all of a sudden. And no I didn’t say that to offend anyone. I don’t have anything against bis, my wife is one.

Anyways, all I’m saying is I’m team Lada all the way

Is there a guide to this game anywhere? Been looking for one.

There are guides scattered on the main post-release thread found here.

I just wanted to say thank you to the author for writing this.
The MC was so relatable to me. Like her, I’m also a bastard, disowned by my real mother, never met my real father, been through self-harm, and had a difficult teenage life.
But it warms my heart knowing that somewhere on Earth, there is a Krorid for me, a place that accepts who I am, adores my personality, celebrates my achievements, and treats me kindly.
Thank you again, and I can’t wait for Book 2 to be released!
