“Hunter: The Reckoning — The Beast of Glenkildove” is out now! Full moon. Cold night. Dark shadow. Warm gun

Fair enough, I didn’t know. It just didn’t come across that he was when reading it. I’m still enjoying the story and the writing though, it’s a just a few pieces of dialogue take me out of it every now and then.

I did too. But it seems like the author overlooked the fact that people in Ireland speak Hiberno-English because, aside from the character names and locations, there’s not much else that feels Irish about this game.

Same. It was especially bad in the first few chapters. Hearing culchies in the countryside talk like they were in a soap opera made me cringe.

The stones is to eliminate Noriko’s mercenary
so you have to pick “find noriko” when given the option of that, find Gray, or find Old Tom, and it is an automatic success one.

You don’t have to join groups for this one.

Thank you for this! I’ve been Googling everything about this game in an attempt to figure out how to SAVE THE WEREWOLVES.

(I’m an old Garou chick from all the way back in the mid-90s.:new_moon: or :waxing_gibbous_moon:, every time; well, with an occasional :waxing_crescent_moon: for a nice change-of-pace. Werewolf: the Apocalypse is and always will be my favourite TTRPG of all time! Pathfinder 1.0 is my second favourite.)

Now, for the question part of the comment, lol.

Here it is:

What the ever-lovin’ Christ are the Annals of Saint Enda? Did I/we talk to Enda at some point, and I missed the memo? The Codices, check; I nick those every time. And I always play Dr. Kyrios Groghan, so INT 6 + Academics 6, plus Science/Tech 2-3 plus Folklore Library. After all, the name of the game is Research, More Research, and Hackering Stuff: givez meez all youzz inFOmayshun, dammit, since I got a Doctorate at Oxford!:rofl::squinting_face_with_tongue:

But I’ve never gotten the Vision ending. And I’ve definitely never gotten the Village Green Preservation Society achievement.
Soooo, what am I doing wrong?

I’m assuming your original Drive is Curiosity, but correct me if I’m wrong here! If this is the case, at the start of Chapter 7 you should be asked how you feel about your original plan (“When all of this began, you wanted answers. […] How do you feel about your findings?”). This part determines your Path, or Ending (and subsequent 3rd Edge).

If you do have the Curiosity Drive, you’ll be presented with five choices. Of them, three will set you on the Vision Path: “I want to know everything”, “There is money to be made here”, and “I’ve come to agree with Claudia”. Your Path determines your vision in Chapter 8, and on the Vision Path you will meet Saint Enda.

The next part is a pit tricky, but ultimately you are judged based on how closely you’ve played to your Path. Given what you’ve listed already, you should have no problem earning approval! If you pass this part, then you will be given the location of the Annals of Saint Enda and an opportunity during your preparation time to track them down.

If you intensely pursuit intel, and/or pick the Vision path when you were asked in the start of Chapter 7, you will meets Saint Enda and he will gives you the Annals as long as you met his requirements.

Ah-hah! I knew I was doing something wrong. I hung with Redemption the first couple go-arounds, instead of sticking with my character’s gut, which was Curiosity.

Okay! Hot damn, I’ll copy your reply and Red’s below it onto my virtual (lol) sticky notes and put them up on my virtual (lol, part deux) corkboard for The Beast of Glenkildove.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! I truly appreciate it.

Thank you, as well, for replying! I’m always so happy to have knowledgeable people around to answer questions. You and Lucky’s replies, in addition to your original statement about how to get the achievement I was aiming for, are leading me to a…9th re-roll? Heh. Which is why I love the WoD interactive fiction the most: the endless play-throughs. Danke!

Oh! I should clarify: I used Curiosity as the most likely example because of the nature of the character, but you can maneuver onto the Vision Path from all four of the beginning Drives! Of the four/five options presented at the start of Chapter 7, other Drives will only offer one option instead of Curiosity’s three. If you like the flavour of Redemption throughout the story, you only need to watch for that choice at the start of Chapter 7 and select the one that ends in ‘Perhaps somewhere I will find the answers I seek’!

Yep! Cause not saving the wolves is to damn easy and typical able to be done without thought or strategy. Saving them is bit more work. Granted, not went past 8 or tried again. Technically knowing my ending I want. Eventually will. Just no drive to go back after restarted uh, uhm, lost count. Because it was obvious at Chapter 8 I failed those attempts and said f it. Don’t want to bother with that, allow to be killed/erased by whatever threat was next. If was any after anyway on that scene. She died, ok, restart.

I will not sure when.
