Apologies if this is in the wrong place. I looked for somewhere to submit bugs but they all seem game specific.
The last six weeks or so I’m finding most of my Hosted Games ‘reset’ to the beginning of the book if I come out of the app mid play through. I just got about halfway through Wayhaven book 1 and when I opened the app back up again it’s gone back to the beginning. The same thing was happening so often with ZE/SH that I ended up buying it on Steam as well just so I could finish part 3.
Is this a known issue? I’m running it on iOS which is fully up to date. The app is also not showing needing any updates on the App Store.

It’s a known issue, yes. The problem is that we can’t reproduce it in our own testing (as in, it doesn’t happen and everything works fine when we test the apps on our devices), which makes it a lot harder to figure out what’s causing it and fix it. In general, it’s best to report issues like this to support@choiceofgames.com instead of on the forum, because it’s easier for us to keep track and to help you with your specific situation there. I did put up a thread about this issue on the forum before, iOS Progress Resetting, which has examples of some of the information we might find useful when you write in.
I have that problem on my iPad, but have stopped it from resetting my game by exiting the game and closing the app every time I want to pause my game. When I start the app up and go back into it, it’s right where I left it. It works for me on every game I’ve tried, so it may be worth a shot for you, too.
