A Mage Reborn, I would say has betrayal as one of the central themes but Book II (wip) is maybe where you can do a little more to act about it.
The Exile has a betrayal theme comparatively similar to AMR, very different plots after that but they’re both 100% worth the angst
There’s betrayal as part of certain character(s)’ past in Whiskey-Four but I wouldn’t say it’s the main focus, but you can act on it and/or seek revenge
Vendetta has revenge as the central theme, but not necessarily betrayal
In one specific early path of Project Hadea (on Itch, not COG) there’s a pretty significant betrayal and revenge plotline
There was a WIP game set in what I recall to be rural England, or at least a rural England-like town.
The opening involves an incident with a near drowning and there’s the option to have a younger character related to the MC either be a child or younger sibling.
Does anyone know what I’m talking about?
I need some help. This wip has been gnawing at my mind for hours. It’s been really really long since i played that wip and seen it update.
What i remember of it was that you are a supernatural in this sort of organisation?
In the beginning you can choose what supernatural beings you can be.
There’s a hell hound? , a bassilisk? and one other species where you are a doll or some sort. You can also pick what kind og dog you can be and the same with the other species.
The 2nd thing i remember is the RO. One of them left an impression on me. That RO is actually your ex partner but you lose memories. Only after you romance them will they tell you that both of you has been together before.
The last chapter i remember is they go to a musuem to solve poltergeist problem, if I remember correctly.
hii just came back to choice games after abit and ive been trying to find this one story but cannot for the life of me remember the title.
the plot is that you’re basically a prince/princess in a demon kingdom with 3 guardians and you have to defeat your two(?) brothers to become the next demon king?
the li’s were the 3 guardians and one was the childhood bestfriend trope, and one of them was a dragon?
Looking for a game that starts with your sibling contacting you to meet him at your childhood cabin in the woods. You go to meet him but a series of events leads you to be stranded in a strange town surrounded by mist, you were supposedly in the lake for (I think it was a few days) before you were found. The cast included a doctor and I think a librarian amongst others. The last chapter I read you get the chance to try and escape the town by driving through the mist. Only to end up being unable to leave.
I’m trying to remember the title of a game where the main focus is surviving the aftermath of a nuclear explosion. It starts with you gathering resources and then fortifying your basement to prepare for the upcoming nuclear blast. I recall that it uses a stat system similar to Zombie Exodus Safe Haven. I remember playing it back when Dashingdon was still around, but I can’t remember the name. Does anyone knows the title?
Alright, let’s set everything else aside for a moment. I’m trying to find the first demo I ever played here. The story starts with you living with your sister in an abusive household. If I remember correctly, your sister was either a werewolf or a vampire. Eventually, she ends up murdering your abusive family and takes you away with her.
The story continues from there, with you being older, maybe a teenager or young adult Idk. At some point, you’re hunted by some kind of hunter or organization, and you’re close to dying. I think your sister saves you again, but I’m not entirely sure.
That’s all I can recall, but I think the name was something like Hunger Wuthered, Hanger Wuthered, or something along those lines. I honestly can’t remember the exact title. Does anyone know what it might be?
I recently came across a demo on these here forums, that had you playing as Mina Harker from Bram Stoker’s Dracula. It hadn’t gotten very far yet. The demo ended a little after you went and visited your friend Lucy Westenra. Though I’ve forgotten the name, I recall that it was not, confusingly, the other WiP that was outright named Wilhelmina. I am given to understand that there are some similarities in their premises, but I’ve never tried the latter.
I’ve been unable to find it again since however, so I should very much appreciate it if anyone could help me out here. Thank you.
