Hey everyone, I've got some more illustrations for Trial of the Demon Hunter!

@Galador
Yepp! Depending on whether you’re attracted to females or males (yes , bi players have to choose for pragmatic reasons) the illusion wielder will either be a witch or warlock.

I like the first witch for my poison witch I don’t want a muscle green stalone girl

@MaraJade
That’s a shame.

Don’t get me wrong its a wonderful picture but its not the type of girl I want look like

@MaraJade
that’s fine because she’s a non player character

Ahhh better few for a moment I believe I would become a green mercenary muscle witch =)) but I clearly never flirt with her with my male mc

@MaraJade
why would you think that? and you don’t get to romance her…she tries to kill you

If i have to think how many game starting with someone try kill me and then end in romance… tons first come my mind is Zevran in dragon age

@MaraJade
ok.

@Samuel_H_Young The witch/warlock that switches out will be a romance option, so I must ask- is she/he just as evil as the other two witches? I assume so. So that means that she must either have some change of heart after trying to kill you that the others don’t experience that allows you to romance her and not the other two witches, correct?

@Galador
There is no romance at all in Trial of the Demon Hunter

Will you be setting up any romance in the first book (I.e meeting the potential options) or will we have to wait till book two to see our options.

@Nocturnal_Stillness
I’m trying to figure out or whether to include it at all, but if I do, it’ll start in tthe sequel

@Samuel_H_Young Why does it change based on the character’s sexuality, then? I was under the impression that you were going to include romance in at least the sequel to the first. If there is no romance at all, why are you bothering with having the player have a sexual orientation?

@Galador
Because one of the antagonists uses seduction magic, and there is another scene where it matters a lot (I don’t wanna tell you because it’s supposed to be a surprise)

@Samuel_H_Young Ah! That makes more sense now. Thank you for clarifying that!

@Galador
No problem. I might add romance in the 2nd and 3rd installment, but it’s really not my forte and I’d have to alter the plot A LOT in order to give you multiple romance options. As of now, though, I’m leaning towards leaving it out.

@Samuel_H_Young Personally, I think stories don’t necessarily NEED a romance as long as the plot is good enough without one. It can help built suspense and attachment to the characters, or it can provide relief from things such as combat, but not every story needs a romance. I’m perfectly fine with you leaving it out, especially since you say that you are not as good at writing it as you are at other things. It is much better to leave out romance entirely than to have an awkward romance, in my opinion.

@Galador
That’s what I was thinking. I mean The lord of the Rings is one of the best stories ever written, and it has no romance at all.

@Samuel_H_Young I assume you meant “read.” LOL!

Actually, The Lord of the Rings has three different romances that I can name right off the top of my head. There is Aragorn and Arwen, and there’s the Faramir/Eowyn pair, both of which did happen in the books. Actually, the Faramir/Eowyn romance was MORE prominent in the books than the movies. Then there’s Sam’s romance with Rose. Granted, none of them were actually HUGE plot points, but they were there. The Faramir and Eowyn pairing was actually very meaningful when it happened. I’m not sure how you missed that part.
