“The introduction” aka Part 1 of my story is done, but it’s in its roughest form that it can be right now. So I’m going to go through it an fix the obvious mistakes and I’ll present it in the public beta thread.
Need to fuel my sugar addiction to calm down the mass of anxiety that’s building up.

I’m actually not feeling like pulling all my hair out, when I think about writing on my WIP, this evening. Unfortunately, I’m so tired I can barely keep my eyes open.
Hopefully, the positivity will carry on till tomorrow!
(Aaaahhh, going to bed made it impossible to fall asleep, and my cat keeps yelling at me…)

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but I had a thought earlier I wanted to share, it was mentioned that games submitted would be put into a poll to see which ones are popular and could possibly benefit from a full WIP at a later date. Maybe this could be optional? I know it’s not a contest, but hypothetically if I had something submitted I wouldn’t really want to see it get little or no votes while others got lots. That’s just me though, maybe the poll entry for some entrants should be optional.
Edit: That’s not really the point I was making, unless I’m misunderstanding you, in which case I apologise. I wasn’t saying no feedback is warranted, readers can give feedback on a story, be it demo or finished story. All I was saying is that I thought the game being put into a popularity poll could be optional, feedback could be given through messages instead for example.

Take a deep breath and just stop of thinking about IFS and votings and numbers. That doesn’t matter shit. The important thing is you put your soul in something, and you find yourself in the process.
Nobody will judge you Only five most voted will be public and no the number of who voted whom.
So, Why present something public but don’t let people the opportunity to say that they love your work?
Not let people show up their appreciation is not fair for anyone not for you not for the others in the jam and clearly not for the audience.

As I said I don’t understand why. THE POLL RESULTS WON’T BE PUBLIC Anonymous voting I will only make public the 5 most voted. So if you are not into 5 You won’t have any data from the poll except you ask me.

It is logical to make it Anonymous I don’t want people to feel bad about it. It is a Jam, not a contest. It will be a boost of confidence for the top five too.

My day has been terrible so far, and it’s sad to say that my productivity yesterday and today has died down a lot in terms of this story. I have everything I need but my work ethic said bye and walked out the door.
So for now I’m focusing my attention elsewhere instead of breaking myself down even further for not being able to get much done.
