There were a lot of different opinions regarding this matter, many which I thought rather amusing while others were really hitting the nail on the head, if I may say so. In the end, itās probably the wisest idea to let him stay how he is instead of making his role a notch higher. While I had some ideas for him as being a friend of the family, I guess now, after reading so many comments, there would be some conflicts later on where I probably would have no idea how to get around them, at least at the given time.
So, thanks again to anyone who contributed on this matter and for your input! It surely was helpful!
Wellā¦ it depends I would guess. Nero knows the MC as well, does it make him a creeper? Ok, we havenāt seen him yet, though I think it wouldnāt make either Nero nor Troy a creeper just because being in any way related (the RO would just be crossed out) or if they knew the MC beforehand. It all depends on the later choices the both of them would make and what they would say.

While I am grinning madly behind the screen right now, I am happy that people like what I write and tell me so. I mostly wrote the game just for fun and to get off some steam in the evening, though now it became a big project for me up until today, and I really love to continue it in my free time.

This is one of the WIPs Iām most excited about right now, honestly. The plot is just so intriguing, and I really like were itās going! Keep up the good work! (And Iām super excited to see the hero-path unfold, yum)

I very strongly empathize with the following 2 remarks:

For the villain path, Iād like to see a good rationale for being a villain, not just a āIām a self-absorbed teen who likes to blame others for my own mistakesā line of cheesy reasoning.
For both the hero and villain paths, Iām looking forward to having the ability to open up to Crow early on, since sheās the one person who has historically given a damn about the MC. I never really bought into the whole, āwe must hide who we are from our old mentorā routine.

Are Spector and Stray the only ones with gender requirements?
For what I saw in the code, yes.
Right now, as already said, Specter and Stray are the only ones with a restriction, though I am thinking about lifting it for Specter perhaps. Not sure yet, though it might happen.

You can mark me down as one of the guys thatāll resort to begging for that to be lifted from Specter. 
I donāt know if heās mute or not, but I justā¦ really want to hold the guy. Or rather my dude MC wants to hold him. Both of us? Both. Iām a sucker for characters who can communicate non-verbally. Actions speak louder than words after all.

Personally, Iād like to see more then one female romance, Vine struck me asā¦ Hard to deal with.

Wellā¦ Iād guess Wraith could be another. Though I donāt think that drops the āhard to deal withā qualifier that you already have for Vine. I know Glamour isnāt, so only other possiblility off the top of my head is the hinted at Technomancer female anti-hero that has been mentioned in passing by @Nathan_Faxon who has then been quickly shushed up by @Wraith any time so much as a word is spoken of it.

From my point of view i really like how Vine behave, itās just that your MC have to get to know her more to deal with her the right way ^^
