So her brother is Lord goldstone, the new Right hand of the Emperor, and her father is a powerful duke. Both will have a hard time supporting the House of Westmeres.

Alright that really changes all regarding James’ character still Duke Goldstone sending his daughter to serve as a maid for the Westmeres?
I get that they are powerful and that but perphaps you could change it so that Sonya is Helen’s lady in waiting on something like that but being a sinple maid that seems more like painting her as a minor lady or a straight up vassal.
Good on the MC’s father to destroy a little the coalition the grandfather imagined.
One has to wonder when the MC looks exactly like the grandfather what will the reaction be for all the cast, having characters react at some point to this similar appearance would be great specially if he ends up sharing his grandfather’s behaviour.
1.Can we remove lord goldstone from right hand position by supporting some other person who will be in our favor?(while mc’s father is emperor)
2.can mc become right hand of emperor(father)?
I think this depends on the tone of the rest of the book. From what I’ve read, I think the second option fits more, but you know more about the future than I do (obviously)
Oh, Cool, I didn’t expect it to be an actual option, we rarely get such iconic scenes. Especially funny to pick with a nice MC (As the song say ‘Nice is different than Good’).
That basically guarantee I’ll have her as one of my RO then cause that sound great and pretty unique. My indecisiveness is probably one of the reasons I tend to argue for wider poly.
Now that you mentioned this I got really curious about Karls relations with Helena, our Grandfather and as a whole his biases on that who inherits the throne, cause I don’t think he likes the MC very much after creating a whole child with the single purpose of weakening our faction.
I will be honest when I saw that the story was changing so much I was ready to give up. I like the new demo though, despite skipping and skimming somewhat as since I’ve followed from the beginning many things were familliar to me. I love the MC grandfather he give me some Tywin Lannister vibe. Like I felt bad disappointing him by playing a female MC as I usually do so I decided to play a male one lol.
I really hope we can start to be more active in our scheming and machinations for the throne if the MC is ambitious and want it. As I’m 90% sure Aeron is clearly trying to antagonize us and make an ally out of Kela. I hope we can scheme just as much as I’m ready to beat him to death for that crown and I already hate him. I know we are only 10 but I wish we soon have more options to try and make allies with others by pretending to like them or subtly undermine our enemies. I mean it wouldn’t be that far fetched that our mother taugh us that already.
So I hope there is some flavors options about why we choose to act friendly or get close to peoples and our feelings about it later. Without it lowering the relationship bar. I haven’t paid attention to it so far as the stats are still being worked on. But this is one of my neatpick as the other characters shouldn’t be able to automically know what your feelings are or if you are lying or not, unless it’s a stat thing ofc. And I see that in so many games like this.
I am the only one fully prepared for Kela to betray us or is my meta knowledge of political fantasy showing ? XD No but seriously I 100% see Aeron trying to convince her to betray us later down the line. I always liked Odo more anyway but I already have my guard up and hope MC can be the same.
Am I the only one waiting for someone to accuse the MC’s mom of stealing Nrein’s child because of how alike they look? Like I need some tangible thing from this. Everyone mentions it you mean to tell me no one’s found it sus that this kid looks more like the first Queen than his own mother and more like Arron than Catalina? I need the blow up of people literally making the MC question his own parentage because everyone feels like the MC is Nrein’s child. I need the even if the MC beats Arron to the throne people questioning who should be Queen Mother. I need the complicated drama of looking so much like this woman and there being not a single family member you can claim who passed these traits on. Also I love Nrein. Though my MC is super ambitious so the questioning of Heritage will allow my MC to like her. Also I broke down laughing when she claimed it was karma that our mom’s lady in waiting slept with our dad. I was like……. You went there I see. Nrein woke up and chose violence. I need Nrein as that stepmom everyone claims is your mom and you’re still not sure who or what to believe even if she swears she can’t be your mom. Or…… maybe she says no such thing? Maybe the similarities even freak her out. Is this like a gaslighting was I pregnant and my evil precious handmaiden stole my baby from me moment? The fact that we can look like her and it be acknowledged is a cause for such storyline that I need a branch about this. I need one.
