Okay, this time for sure, I’ve got the NEW link working. So @Cecilia_Rosewood (sorry to bother you) if you could please edit the old link at the top, I’d deeply appreciate it.
Nice to see this again I was wondering if the human will get any crazy abilities like being able to create awesome robots or something to help him defeat the other races like creating a gas shooter on their wrist that messes with a werewolf sense of smell making them easier to evade and attack.
“[Adrian] can’t be trusted to remain biased.”
Surely the problem is that he can be trusted to remain biased? (Or, more strictly, “He can’t be trusted to remain _un_biased”)
nice to see you back @TwoSharp , will give it a read when i come back from work
Link edited. Sorry it took so long. Work kinda took priority for a couple of hours
@Reaper_General The humans will have some very cool gadgets that you will get to use , but only if you join their faction. The Division gets a few cool things too, but they’re not as advanced or clean as what the humans have.
@ParrotWatcher Thanks for spotting that. It should read “He can’t be trusted to remain unbiased.”
@anon4518890 It’s nice to be back
@Cecilia_Rosewood Thank you for the help!
(And I completely understand work taking priority.)
first time posting here. xD working on the courage to post more openly. Things have changed from the first time I read. I think for the better. Absolutely fell in love with Mila again.
Going to give a couple more go-a-rounds before I post my feedback. Excited this wip is back! OH? I cant seem to romance Mila are there special requirements I need to have done? Nice to finally meet ya btw!
@Pagliacci Thanks for posting! As to romancing Mila, a full blown romance start/scene isn’t yet available, BUT you can get a chance to kiss her if:
1) have a high enough relationship stat 2) hang out with her at the Marked 3) try to keep her relaxed (conversation choice) during the activity and 4) selecting the choice to be more intimate with her.
Are all the changes in Chapter 3 or are there some in earlier areas as well?
I love love love it. Kinda hoped I could have had at least one tinie tiny intimate INTIMATE moment with Adrian before the game’s cut off. I think I cried when I reached the final destination. Imma sucker for the silent types.
I just played the revision and I have to say that I loved all these new details and characters you added and how now the chsracters are even more fleshed up!
My love for Adrian and Felton has been rekindled; I really forgot, how much I love them. I can’t wait to see how the romance with both of them will develop.
@Shoelip The changes are throughout the entire story, but most changes are on the Division side.
@ab2wus I’m glad you like him! Adrian’s intimate moment comes in chapter 4 (which I am working on)
@kitkat Thanks for playing and I’m glad that the characters speak to you!
@TwoSharp I found an error of sorts, just before arriving at the Marked’s place.
I let Adrian lead as he seems to know where to go and what to do. I follow him and Mila and Victoria and Megan following me. As we make our way to a smaller, separate building to the right I notice the stone path we walk on has been designed in a pattern of swirls and etched with symbols of the moon cycle.
I honestly don’t have a clue who Victoria and Megan are supposed to be. I don’t recall my character meeting them before.
While I’m looking around, I almost smash into Adrian when he halts suddenly! Mila manages to side step me, but almost loses her footing! I reach out, catch her arm, and she steadies herself.
“Ah!” Megan bumps into me and tumbles causing Victoria to dash forward, gathering the girl in her arms.
Again on the same page.
“And who are you supposed to be? The welcoming committee?” Mila’s lips curl up and she bares her teeth at the man. Victoria doesn’t even bother hiding her shock at Mila’s rudeness.
Again.
My mouth hangs open a little at Mila’s disrespect. I need these people to cooperate with me and she is insulting them! “Be still!” Victoria whispers fiercely while covering Megan’s ears.
And again. I figure some variable didn’t get set properly at some point.
“Wait. Where’s Victoria and Megan?” I ask realizing the pair are no long here.
“When your companions realized it was the Mages knocking on the Marked’s doorstep they, in which I mean Victoria, demanded to speak to Rueben. Apparently she has information he might find useful in dealing with them in exchange for her and her daughter’s continued presence here.” Isaac says.
And a bit later during the mages’ attack as well.
@Cecilia_Rosewood I found why that’s happening and fixed it in my file, but I’m not sure how to update my link without wrecking it (it’s been a long time), so, it’ll take some time for me to figure it out again.
Just save the file under the same name as the current one and overwrite the old one on dropbox. That way the old link should still work for the new file.
@Cecilia_Rosewood Thank you for the help! I’ve fixed it now (and it was quite easy).
Ok back just a few things I noticed on the leaving the division path…
I there were places that I had scenes with megan and Victoria when I haven’t met them.
when meeting them small error with shop owner speaking
“Racist! You call me that!” Spit flies from his mouth. “You’re the damned bitch you lives off the backs of other races! You can’t do a thing for yourself and you’re proud!”
after asking if the group would like to remain a group the very next scene talks about adrian leading the way. i have not met andrian.
also when cooking with mila…
“Hey.” I have to deal with the same small mindedness too. Granted I haven’t met anyone you thinks of me as an animal, but still.
I’m excited to check out the division path now though the leaving the division path is my favorite.
@Pagliacci Thanks for catching those errors. I believe I’ve found and fixed the error where Adrian, Victoria and Megan appear (when they’re not supposed to), but I have so many if’s it’s possible some slipped by me.
Ah Ok! I will go back again and try and be more specific where I found them or if I see them again. Is the link on the first post where you made the changes?
@Pagliacci The top link has been edited to be the same as the one posted a few posts up. So, either one will get you the most updated version.
