Fallen Hero: Retribution release thread! (Book Two) (Spoilers Inside!)

I remember Sidestep can get all possessive with Rosie/Boris, I just have to wonder the choice of words we will have with whomever is in the puppet now, specially if the puppet is not viewed as a person.

That’s pretty cool! I wonder if it increase puppet individuality or not.

How to find out about Ortega’s epilepsy ?

It was in the first/second flash back in Rebirth. It’s not even choice related.

I didnt know there was an ending like that where you get stabbed with a syringe?
Maybe I’ve been too nice to Dr Mortum in all my playthroughs

They just care about the puppet who is basically brain dead. So of course they are going to do that since we treated the puppet badly or they misunderstood the whole thing

If you take puppet to HG, you will crash the car and leave the body. And later you agree to help Mortum get puppet out of the hospital.

Didn’t treat the puppet badly, if anything during the run of which I posted the ending you see above: I barely used the Puppet.

Also, the Puppet isn’t brain dead. Brain dead peoples don’t wake up and start talking out of the blue…

I think Mortum is angry mainly because MC put the puppet in danger by sending them to HG.

Imo, it shows that doctor cares more about puppet’s body than about Mc.

I always though it was weird of the amount of ‘I’m interested in you’ from the get go.

Shrug doesn’t matter to me. Dr.Mortum did the Impossible…Pissed me off.

Thats bad m’kay? Cause I can let a lot slide, but backstabber…gotta die.

Well, technically Mortum has only known the puppet (in their eyes, seeing as well… It’s still you) and if the latter goes down the manipulative route where they throw you under the bus, I can see why they wouldn’t trust MC (unlike the path where you tell the truth and they backstab you, even though it doesn’t make sense.)
Not to mention, if you end up in the hospital as yourself and have told the truth, Mortum can show conflict in their epilogue which basically translate to “they’ve betrayed me but merde I still care uhhh oh no”

I was talking about path where my mc considered her a friend. He told her all the secrets, he explained everything hoping that Mortum will understand and they can still be friends. After MC helped her get the puppet out of the hospital, she does something like this??? Wtf? Get MC into the most traumatic situation for them, a situation that brings back all bad memories. And she does it even though she probably has some knowledge of the Farm, Re-Genes and how they are treated there! That’s cruel.

I didn’t like this character before, and now I almost hate her. Certainly I have no remorse for manipulating her on other routes.

I did the same thing…minus the friendship (Didnt sleep with her or flirt with her). But yeah, I feel you…that’s how I felt too.

Only difference is: I actually liked Dr.Mortum. Thats why it hurt so much.

Eep…we are agreeing! HALP! :joy:

she is more useful should be allie more than enemy . I think Dr Mortum have bigger secret more than they let out

They say that their reaction to Sidestep when Sidestep reveal the truth makes them feel terrified . I think They fear Sidestep will react the same If They reveal their secret. I think that Their secret maybe about Re-Gene which they doesn’t let out and I belive This secret will be big bomb which can completely destroy relationship between them and Sidestep.

And what secret is that? In one slider they talk about a ‘Project’ whatever that is.

Maybe about experiment Re-Gene and missing Telepath. Wait Book 3   I think Mortum is part of it (More or Less)

But you already talk about it with them.

Hey now…

Mc: Why did you do it? I trusted you! I loved you!
Dr.Mortum: Well, Mademoiselle… it’s all because of Spoiler of Book 3
Mc: What?
Dr.Mortum: As I said, it is all because of Spoiler of Book 3
Mc: That’s not fair! :face_exhaling:
