Test tube subjects however may be better for the purposes of the farm. It’s controlled circumstances from the egg to…well whatever they do with subjects that aren’t fit for the special directive.
Subjects from other sources may only be needed if they bring in research worthy traits

That’s why I think if that is the case anyone brought in might not be used as say like solider or anything but as a way to test their pregrown killers out on innocent people before being deployed for war.

@Sammysam that is true i actually thing the test tube babbies are easier to control mentally if they dont have free will but they may be hard to control physically which is why i like the idea of them adding in the humans who have abilities like our MC to direct them

I personally assume that they probably did similar things like that, but their aim for the future is to produce those people themself too. Less risks of developing a conscience…at least in theory
But I also assume that MC never really was a normal human to begin with…their secrecy, maybe even their body image issues, the thing with being save as a nearly comatose husk in the hospital as long as nobody undresses them - maybe the special directive uses a less flashy way to mark their subjects that aren’t meant for the direct use in combat/only for research and disposal? - , how MC speaks about their childhood and the farm gives me - even if a few things could be from after the Heartbreak incident - the feeling that MC and the farm go way back…longer as the time following the Heartbreak Incident

I really like that. Yeah if there is just you baseline Regene that is run of the mill production line but for things like command, tactics, infiltration maybe better made original Regenes.
Also from childhood I’m sure they could add in a pile for “programmes” that can subdue free will. The human brain can be susceptible to external programming and that can come from tv, ads, music etc for normal people yet alone what kind of programming MC and others could have undergone from the farm’s “therapists”.

actually i do have an assumption that the mc was practically grown from the lab itself? like i forgot which line it was but it was the one with sharks and how the game hints uve escaped the farm twice… which i really think that the MC is lab grown but how they got aware maybe its got to do with ur clone? also just realized the farms security is shit if u cn escape from it twice or are MC is just really that awesome
@Pixelf yesss exactly which is why i also believe the MC is adverse to therapists usually and im so curious to see if we have more like us if even what happened to locus was similar to us with her dissapearing and all

I think they may have been kept in an externe hospital shortly after the Heartbreak Incident and most likely only could escape a second time because security measures weren’t as tight as the farm and they underestimated MC’s powers/powers upgrade/ability to be in the condition to flee

slight hint though not sure if its related but it would be really cool if it was! also its actually a smart idea if we did get released by the farm to see if we could adapt well to society and not make ppl suspicious enough to believe we are anything but human without us knowing? with that said if they did plan this out then they definitely are much more cunning than they appear.

Doubt they planned it…or well…maybe they felt secure to send off MC on a mission, because they had no reason to doubt the effects of the conditioning. I’m just not sure with the hints that MC got deemed weak by the farm - if you take down one of the ReGenes with help of the what’s-their-name mercenary group - however that also could be about them underestimating them the second time.
The epilouge seems to hint that they are searchinh for MC…or at least one person is intersted in getting on MC’s track (maybe the voice on the phone when calling the sd? Don’t know him yet, but part of me believes that MC has much reason to let him suffer. Maybe something like MC’s handler?)

That would be a long time in an external hospital though. I thought they just released 2 years prior the current events so in timeline I think that is 2018 and heartbreak happen in 2013. So five years missing so I would think the farm in those years would be more vigilant in protecting their “product” and have them shipped straight back to the farm not to risk to much time in lower security hospital. The farm could have their own medical facilities. It feels like to me that MC did go back there just with the way they react to it. Like a re-exposer to trauma from childhood.
@Flaine1996 I like to think the farm wants to plant it’s products among the general population like maybe we are a ticking time bomb but that is just my thought.

maybe why theyd allow mc to roam free more due to them being weaker than the rest so easier to pull back in case they think of escaping but yeah the farm really has a habit of underestimating the MC before they escaped and also yep yep! i always like getting that achievement which im sure will bite me in the ass but i like them knowing im alive and free as a big fuck u to them lol
also @Pixelf agree! i like it like were the sleeper agents of the farm waiting to be deployed when they plan to take over los diablos

Oh, totally missed that part. I honestly interpreted the timeline as MC laying low while trying to heal / planning their revenge before coming back to Los Diablos. But yeah in that case it’s unlikely the escaped from an externe facility. I wonder if they really just tried to reprogram MC though… considering they escaped the first time… based on MC’s remark that they made sure that no from the outside (when clothed) visibile scars would be left I suspect they at least did consider using MC again for outside missions… maybe it backfired again? Or originally MC didn’t escape that way but only because - based on the sleepwalker remark- they were supposed to be dormant and not yet “activated” and thus normally not capable to escape. So the escape through an outside mission may be only the second escape.
What if they want MC to think they escaped…but in reality they were just let out as a test?
We already speculate about it but at least the escape after the Heartbreak Incident is unlikely to be planned by the farm, considering the Epilouge that gives you the achievement “Oooops” let’s it seem like they searched for MC and it kinda seems weird for them to let MC go but don’t put them under any surveillance.
It’s possible that they did let the MC run loose the first time around but the things MC sees while confronting the Heartbreak villain could be taken as hint that the first time MC escaped wasn’t planned neither…

Could be that the assault of their mind forced them to develop their powers more… we don’t know exactly how MC treated their powers before, but it seems that the may had a few internal blocks that stoped them from realising their full potential. And maybe it also was just the believe “my powers can’t be that strong because nobody thinks they are strong including the farm”.
Or the farm used the time they had the MC captured to “unlock” their powers… (or tried and were disappointed when they seemingly didn’t get the results they wanted, what MC could have usrd to escape.)
Or well…it could be that Heartbreak and MC formed an ongoing mental connection. Maybe Heartbreak uses parts of MC’s mind as “sanctuary” to hide (because there are hints that while it wasn’t the sane, they may had at least similar expiriences) and their influence caused MC to develop stronger abilities 
(Basically: We don’t know but feel free to share your theories)
