Where is the lie? Mortum am sorry you deserve good things but Ortega just really stole the show this time around
As for the good doctor, I feel they were tapped by the Farm to do some projects that left them incredibly bitter and jaded

would be cool if mortum has ties with the farm… though u think he was there while the MC got retaken after the heartbreak incident? would be cool if he did but the MC never saw the good doc or there memory was blurred
If Mortum was working with the farm my MC would have a very hard time in forgiving them regardless of Mortum being there anytime when MC was. Although it could pose as an interesting personal challenge for MC but I think MC has enough on their plate already.

While I don’t know. I thought they might take as you said orphans or unknown people like homeless, people with no ties and use them as fodder for Regene testing combat skills on humans or something.

true true most likely homeless people though it did state in game there mostly just created in test tubes but if the theory holds up there actually humans then it isnt far off they’d get those whose identities arent even worth noticing
