School did not give me much time to do so but after sacrificing sleep, I have completed the game. That epilogue though: gorgeous.
This one is my favorite of them all
Now let’s replace " I told you to stay away from me" with “I’m not interested in having sex” and let’s look at Ortega’s response.“I mean, I suppose you did, but I could tell that you didn’t really mean it.”
Ohhh that’s adorable! Kinda reminds me of one of my friend tbh. She’s always checking up on me, making sure I’m still breathing
I think that’s why I like Ortega so much to be honest! Gosh that thread is full of good material.
I can’t imagine Ortega ever being like that. As annoying as they can be neither male nor female Ortega is a rapist. They are flirty, yes, they are pushy, yes, but they have shown that at the end of the day they respect the MC’s choices and decisions even if they don’t like them.
The two situations are not the same.
@Kattz @GenecoInheritor
I agree with Kattz, it’s not even remotely the same situation. And Ortega isn’t even interested in you unless you show interest in the first place. The mc was like family for Ortega and when they thought MC had died and Ortega tortured themselves with this.Suddenly out of nowhere you pop up 7 years later and refuse to explain why left and they actually back off, cause they respect the MC’s boundaries. Despite this being a situation that would call for answers Ortega decides to back off as opposed to losing their brother in arms all over again.
If you can’t respect one line in the Sand you can cross another. I just want Ortega to leave me the hell alone.
Rape and being a nosy friend are two very distinct things my friend. Besides, it’s just a fictional character. Please do not joke about such sensitive topics on a forum meant to celebrate the game and its characters. Sorry if this came off as rude in any way.
To get back on topic, is anyone excited for getting a secret lair? I remember malin saying that it’ll be a thing in book 2, and I’m excited to see what kind of safehouses our mc can find in Los Diablos! Maybe an abandoned warehouse with a nice view??
That’s like saying because I would illegally download music, I would murder someone. Your logic doesn’t pan out in the regard of you basically wanting to detach from Ortega on account your original problem was with the romance aspect of the relationship. However Ortega doesn’t actively pursue a romantic relationship with you unless you choose to, even then you have to choose to give this character those feelings through your past actions.
Furthermore you’re only forced to interact with Ortega in a business like manner on account that you would be found out of your unlawful deeds in the game. All meetings with them are simply there for the character to stave off interest in the search for Argdent’s assailant. You can choose to walk away and treat them as a stranger and worse.
I feel like your argument is purposefully upsetting just to get a rise out of people and the author shouldn’t have to read it. And I agree back on topic.
@Perch
I need a rundown amusement park for my HQ. I feel like it would honestly be an interesting backdrop for a fight. I could probably find some hilarious way of taking out Herald in the bumper cars. Hilarious.
That’s hilarious!! Can you imagine Argent chasing you down a rollercoaster track only to get hit by the actual coaster! And poor Herald with those bumper cars… gosh the press would just have a field day with that! We gotta find some way for Steel to get trapped on one of the kiddie rides!
I’d absolutely run into the carousel while fighting Steel, even if all I get out of it is a scene where he punches big ceramic horses to get to me.
That brings another question to mind, does steel float? Either way, I’m sticking him on the river log ride. Argent in the balloon popping stand and every balloon sticks to her metallic skin as she walks by leaves her even more aggravated. Maybe fighting Ortega on top of the Ferris wheel seats, or perhaps a haunted house? Just stick herald anywhere and it’ll be fun to watch.
That could make for a super cool scene where you try to terrorize the rangers in the haunted house!! Except it’s real and instead of a ghost it’s your fist!! So fun
I’d love to stick Herald in one of those maze of mirrors that reach the ceiling… he’d either be grounded for a little bit or have to make some very…sharp… turns
Also @NorWal
That would be an amazing scene, especially if it’s one of those giant Disney park ones! Just the mc running around in circles while Steel struggles to fit his armor between a unicorn and tiger~
I feel like it would be a double-edged blade for my character, stoic and gruesome during the gala. But laughing and prancing around the rangers like a fruitloop. I would break character to go have that merry-go-round scene with steel…
probably alrdy asked but i cant find it in me to scroll through all the posts…just i wanna know if we can name ourselves Sidestep? It keeps telling me im not ready to out myself xD
You need a specific percentage amount of arrongance for it.
Based on how heavy he seems in the flashback, I’d guess not. Honestly I doubt Ortega could float either, they’re both Mods with extensive internal machinery.
I doubt it. The dude’s armor is so heavy that you were worried about falling through the stairs during that flashback. If it’s something big and heavy duty enough to take on Psychopather and still leave him alive after losing… he’s gonna sink.
How much? I hit 60+ and still no
65+ arrogance…
