There is an achievement with it:
Looking into the Abyss: You’ve looked into the eyes of something not quite human: you have no idea what Lady Argent is, but it scares you. (10 points)
The scene gives a little more hint/description obviously, but there is part of her not human at all.
I don’t see the achievement but it’s probably got a different name prior to unlocking it.
I still feel her “inhuman” characteristics are more evil affiliated than anything.
I can obviously be wrong but it just kind of takes away from her if she’s essentially an alie

Ironically, I can’t seem to get the Scarface or Close Shave Achievements as well.
She is probably ‘Mostly human’ just from the scene; after all, when you enter her mind it does mention memories of her mother/father, etc…but that doesn’t mean something…else…isn’t along for the ride. Note that this last part is just speculation on my part.
This would be why I would personally have her killed, if she can be killed. Of all the heroes, she is probably the biggest threat to us, and the most difficult to control. We could probably control Ortega and Herald, but Lady Argent is a different matter. Too wild, too dangerous.
Well it depends what kind of game you are playing. My Sidious playthrough will ultimately try to corrupt her for that very reason

Definitely; I mean, even Ortega can’t be so dense not to notice if the puppet is using the same expletive as the MC.
There is probably a variable tracking it, and if it hits a certain threshold, then Ortega gets a clue.

Ortega is too malleable to be any real issue. Just keep her mind preoccupied with the fact that they are the same dude and she won’t have time to put two and two together. Keep in mind you either have limited or no powers

I enjoy the kind of supernatural element that seems apparent in the story. Along with the Lady Argent thing, does anyone remember that whole heartbreak flashback where the scientists are trying to open gates? They talk about the subject bringing something back with them I believe.
Yep, the MC was on the threshold of life and death. Since the MC can send their consciousness into other bodies, that sort of makes them a ghost…and other entities of energy/spirit wouldn’t be unheard of, so I could see there being an afterlife of sorts.
So you supposition of the MC bringing something back, not just a psychosis from seeing Anathema dying/touching Psychopathers mind, is probably spot on.
I believe they brought back some kind of entity, something incredibly dark, something that produced the Heartbreak effect. I am not sure if this entity was indeed something supernatural / spiritual, or whether the stress and trauma and power being poured into that moment caused Heartbreak to produce that entity through their telepathic abilities. I think the sharing of memories with Heartbreak transfered a part of that entity into you, permanently darkening you. That is my theory, at least.
