Pretty sure there is a bug since I expressed no interest in Mortum but suddenly find myself kissing Mortum on the same page.

On Chapter 2 during the warehouse fight, getting injured seems unavoidable if you choose to fight from ‘goodfight’. But both ‘goodfight’ and ‘badfight’ lead to ‘fightend’ which there is an if statement checking if you got injured or not.
It’s odd because in order to reach this, you will have to be injured. This doesn’t seem to make sense for there to be this check whether or not you got injured.
I am not sure if I should write this in Book 2 thread as this question is about something that is revealed in the Epilogue but given that this is one of the first actions of the story I decide to ask it here.
So about the Re-Gene that you could spare in the begining, should you even do this given that in the end because of this some mighty people will be conscious of you

Hey friends! Just found a small error and since Malin said they were updating the game anyway I figured I would post it here. [Assuming I am reading it correctly.]
In Chapter 5:

For a moment, you almost worry that ${mhe} is onto you. That look in ${mhis} eyes makes your smile grow tight in return.
I believe this is meant to be “*if fake” not false, because I don’t really think “*if false” is ever true on its own? [It’s in reference to the MC’s motivation/feelings regarding going out to dinner with Mortum.]
In Chapter 8:
You can’t stop the chuckle rising within you. To hell with tomorrow—right now you have to live here, in this moment. In less than an hour, you will have to plant the charges and blow this place. In less than an hour, you will abandon this puppet and step into your own body as a new ${sex}. In less than an hour, your new life will begin.
The wording here feels really strange for a non-binary Step, I feel like “a new person” would fit much better than “a new non-binary”. Hope you don’t mind the suggestion

It’s not locking you out; I think that option’s only available if you flirted with them in the past. You can definitely date Ortega without it.

What’s the news on the Rebirth update that Malin been citing on Patreon? What’s new on the 1.1.1 update anyway? Just asking been waiting for a while for the update but i can wait some more

It’s been a long time since I originally played Rebirth, and I was curious if it’s possible to defeat Argent in the sewer in combat (without using telepathy) with a strategist.
I’ve replayed it a few times recently, but every time I’m not able to (it defaults to the “gotcha” moment), and I recall being able to pull it off when I originally played a few years ago, but there were so many permutations with the choices that I don’t recall how I did it exactly. Is it only possible to do it if you’re playing as a fighter?

You can break the sewer wall and cause a flood (or something like that), but I’m not sure if that counts.

I think that only a fighter can take her hand to hand in a fair fight. A tactician can take her in an unfair fight, but that’s sort of the whole point of being a tactician imo.

I haven’t touch the new update yet, still waiting for the big update but yes you can beat her fairly with armor/speed upgrade at least in the older version maybe. I don’t recall much of the fight but my sidestep was very cautious, low daring and all that, and i manages to beat her. I knock her out unconscious and save her before she fell down the sewer drain but beating her doesn’t really matter in the end since iirc you can change her opinion of you in Retribution but take this with a grain of salt, i haven’t played Rebirth since lords came out (still waiting for that update)
Where do authors post their updates? also I just knew that COG games get updates, will it be on steam too?
I never knew FH R got updates, can someone send me the link or tell me what the differences are?
