Thanks to the feel of the story I’m not interested in any of the love interests. My character feels like someone with severe depression and pain. Even my creepy references to taking advantage of her puppet are because she despises people. But she’s not yet omnicidal quite like my Villains : Catalyst character. Not sure in game what her plans are for what she’s stealing but mostly I see her as using her powers to spread general pain and misery for the trollolz

I feel that and I envy you. I think I have this weird paragon thing going and it’s hard to be bad, and this game makes it so hard and so necessary at the same time. I’m literally torn…:sob::sob::sob:

Well if you want to be evil just imagine yourself in the worst place.

You have a baby or puppy in real life? It’s dead.

Your parents dead, drug addicts who abused you, or abandoned you.

Your romantic partner cheated on you and left you.

Your best friend murdered.

You put yourself in the headspace where you have nothing and that’s when you apply those feelings to your character.

Some people become Job willing to endure everything and still keep goodness in their heart. But many break. If you can look through the eyes of the broken you can possibly be evil. Just mentally destroy the things that mean the most to you.

You need to be their rival to use it…when you first training in the puppet body you will get the option to choose your rival

…OH. Oh I SEE. I always went emo and had my MC angry at herself.

Dude you’re right! I just got the scene and I love it! I won t post as it counts as a spoiler I guess

People on tumblr asked me for a specific thread to ask questions about achievements/gameplay, so I went and made one.

People have tastes, and different things will be gamebreakers for different people. I’m a big fan of the Dragon Age 2 mechanic where you can rivalmance as well as romance people, so the type of relationship you can have will also change depending on what you do.

But then again, a lot your relationships (and your life)will be built on lies, so just keep juggling all those lies and semi-truths and you should be okay.

Right?

… right.

@malinryden

Hi! Just want to ask of this is a typo?

Summary

“Give him a break, Sidestep. He’s here to keep us safe.” Anathema shoots you a smile.

My MC is a woman or is this because my MC is a masked vigilante that they don’t know what my gender?

Isn’t that in reference to Steel?

 My comprehension is failing me. Thanks for the clarification.

First thing: very good game and amazing writing :+1:

My first question is though: do we actualy learn specificaly why MC turned into a villain or i missed something in my playthrough?

I know we learn that we have a shady past (but not what it is exactly) before we were a Hero, and that after the Heartbreak incident we were captured, imprisoned and tortured for 5 years by some organisation (but still don’t know by whom). And that they increased our telepathic abilities but mutilated our body.
Is this all we learn in game or i haven’t discovered some parts?
It was a bit hard for me to roleplay my character without knowing exactly why i’m turning into villain. The way game is constructed i didn’t know if those parts will be revealed to me, or should i fill in the blanks and invent specific parts for my character to roleplay her better. The way i play roleplaying games it was a bit weird for me that there are things that my MC knows but i as player don’t.

I’ve been with this from when it was a wip and you were working chapter by chapter and could hardly contain my excitement when you did. The game is like a breathe of fresh air in the cog world and then the mood is like a punch in the stomach,it’s dark,it’s new,it’s what we didn’t know we need. I’m going to buy it later today after I go get a google play card from the store. My favorite part of all this is how much emotion you put into it and how you feel now you’re excited, you’re happy and I love it. Thank you.

Anyone know the proper choices, for Ortega’s romance with not our puppet? I keep just keep getting a hug and can’t visit her at the hospital…

amazing game.
kinda sad that I cant reveal my identity to Charge and Herald during that museum fight…I wanted to see some angst breakdown.

You need to be mostly unharmed to visit her. It would be kinda suspicious if you showed up there covered in blood after the big battle. You also can’t have a facial scar from the fight, for the same reason.

Ah thanks…so not to sound like a idiot but what’s the best way to go about that?

If you want to avoid injury in the final fight, then if you’re trying to destroy the museum you need speed, armor and telepathy to avoid injury. Telepathy only works if you use the nanovores and try to time it right.

For the fight with Herald, just don’t monologue at the end. Just knock him out and move on. Same with Ortega, though you also need either between 35 and 65 daring to win the fight or the telepathy upgrade to stop it from, going really bad. You also can’t hesitate when knocking them out, or Argent will hurt you.

For Argent, you need to have the speed upgrade or be a fighter if you choose the all or nothing option in the first fight. If you are a tactician or have the armor upgrade, you should choose the wait for my moment option. You can also win if you laid a trap in her mind earlier in the game, or if you said you hated her more than any other ranger or yourself earlier.

For the sewer fight, nothing can seriously injure you, unless you robbed the museum, lost the fight, and tried to save the stolen money. If you let it go you can get away fine.

Nothing else can hurt you in the final battle.
