yeah but the nano don’t eat skin though . So can’t reach organs …at least I don’t think they could .
Also considering the 1st battle was recorded , I doubt it gonna be easy a 2nd time . I mean in the 1st fight…there were moments where you could’ve lost . So in another combat , I’m pretty sure they be ready and got a plan to disarm the MC of the nano . Maybe we’ll get a new upgrade in the futur…

But a different question: Anybody already ideas how their MC will have treated their time and relationships during the nine(?) months between Part 1 and 2? Knowing my MC they may promised Ortega to talk about their relationships and THE KISS but lmao, guess that means radio silence through all channels including the puppet. Or if that’s not possible MC carefully evading every oppertunity for ORtega to catch them alone. 
I guess it may be too suspicious if MC dropped from the face of earth and their involvement of the rangers’ investigation considering the new villain for them to actually do that… and in the worst case Ortega will start to stalk their favorite coffee shop or something like that… (not that I could blame them…)
MC is a mess okay? And feelings are scary.
But I would suspect the Puppet and Mortum to get closer given the oppertunity…
Edit: …I hope sugar tooth MC can at least once rob a bakery…

Okay, I’m about to start speculating really hard and I might totally misinterpret Steel’s character, but here we go:
I think it kinda helps that we died for a period of time… that sounds weird to say, but Steel got to see how our “death” affected everyone, but Ortega especially. Ortega and him are old friends, and regardless of how the MC feels about them now, in the past Ortega and MC were close, and Steel was disapproving dad 2.0. But then we “died”, leaving behind a grieving friend and city. Most likely, all the memories Steel had of us were of him being suspicious even though, at the time, we were a good guy. That’s gotta feel bad. Especially because Ortega obviously loves the MC (platonically or otherwise), and Steel seems to be Ortega’s other closest friend, so I imagine he was subjected to a lot of the emotional aftermath of that event. Which probably made him think on his own past interaction with MC. I mean, there’s obviously a lot of guilt associated with how he treated them in the past. Even in the scene where he’s trying to tell MC to stay away from the Rangers, he kinda just takes the verbal abuse that the MC can give… I’m just saying, I could see Steel trying to extend some sort of olive branch now that the MC is suddenly back from the dead. Doesn’t mean he trusts MC, just that he kinda feels bad about the past. Until he DOES trust MC, and it’s revealed that they really are a bad guy, then all hell breaks loose.

Well my MC romanced (and kissed) Ortega . And I’m guessing they had alot of ‘come on! Let’s meet up’ and my MC finding exuses not to…cose reasons . (which can be many) .
But MC still has the phone…so they probably keep in touch trough that .

Steel suffer from paranoia . He doesn’t trust anyone apparently . (Unless I misread the story which is possible) , he gave the same treatement to Argent .
I think that’s the part that irk me the most about him . This judgement he throw around , one could say ‘That’s part of being leader and yada yada’ . But honestly , considering where his loylty lie…his own background…his personality , if anyone should go full parano it’s the MC .
I guess the thing I wanna see the most is where or what made him this suspicious of everyone . That…once found…can be used against him . 
He come off as ‘Down to earth’ kinda of person . There is no place for feeling , do the job and stuff like that .
Which I found interesting and intriguing Why did he turn out that way? I am curious to know how Steel turn out that way. I suppose for some it annoys them but in fiction, it is interesting to see why the characters were that way and a great way to see how they will develop throughout the book.
Malin did a really great job introducing the cast of characters and made them distinctive from one another.

oh I don’t like him , doesn’t mean I don’t wanna know more . The fact he get that reaction from me , mean he is very well written (they all are ) . They are complex , there is more to them then meet the eyes (powers wise and background as well ) , they make you clash emotionaly inside and make it harder to follow a straight road .
So kudos to the writer , they did an exellent job .
