I always pick tactician and I still managed to beat Lady Argent in the sewers (telepathic and speed boosters). But for more details I’d have to do it one more time since I only did it once and since it gave me the results I wanted on the first try, I didn’t do it again. I’m not sure I remember of everything correctly and I don’t want to say anything what isn’t right.
Are you romancing Ortega with the puppet too? I think that’s the only way you can get that scene.
You can get it without romancing her as the puppet just go to the museum with her and say it’s as friends or it’s professional.
Now this is new. I thought for this you have to get into the weird love triangle with Ortega. Thanks for correcting me.
Yeah it made me happy to get it without the love triangle cause I hate love triangles. Kissing Ortega in the elevator is also great.
I’m not exactly against love triangles, but this thing… I tried it in one playthrough and I realised that this seems just too manipulative for my tastes, and too risky too if I try to imagine myself in the MCs position.
Edit: I don’t even see the merits in this. The MC getting jealaus of a body controlled by them? Wtf? That seems just ridiculous to me since the MC is the only one who could be blamed for this. I mean I understamd if they are angry of Ortega for flirting with a “complete stranger” but getting jealous even tho they encouraged the flirting with both bodies
Yeah I usually always discourage the flirting as the puppet never been a fan of drama. It also reminds me of Superman and Clark Kent, and how Lois was more interested in Superman and Clark couldn’t help being jealous of her being interested more in his mask.
And I here tought this was an original idea from the author.
Edit: Anyway if I’d play it in the way I think it’s most safe for the MC, I’d not get into any romances and keep the friendship thing with Ortega only for appearances sake. But since I like romances I can’t say no to them when the option is available.
I’m a bit pissed I only discovered this was released today. I bought it, of course, and am in my 3rd Playthrough. There’s a few left over bugs I know we pointed out, though.
Can anyone who got the elevator scene tell me specific actions they took? I’m still not getting it for some reason
What elevator scene?
Few steps required First walk away when Ortega wants to help you and make sure sure not heavily injured after museum fight. You will have option to visit ortega at hospital then must accompany her/him to meet your puppet
To get the elevator scene MC needs to have not had a past relationship with Ortega, and the puppet has to take Ortega to the museum as a date.
The scene plays out with Ortega in the hospital, they mentions that they had a date and asks the MC to help them to the door, then they ask the MC if they would like to come to see the puppet. If you answer yes the elevator scene happens.
It’s important to note that there’s an achievement for beating Ortega too good at the museum. If you get that then they’ll be too injured to get up and the elevator scene won’t happen.
If you’ve had a previous relationship with Ortega(and Ortega is dating your puppet) your MC will ask to go visit the puppet with Ortega, but they’ll be nervous and say no. That route leads to the Days of our Lives achievement where there’s a love triangle.
How do I do this?
(twenty characters…)
I think it involves getting the strength upgrade? I never finished that route cause I felt awful, but you can break his legs.
I may just be too soft-hearted, but doing a completely evil route killed me. Hell, even hurting Herald badly made me feel nasty! Alas, I must get every achievement in this game
Speaking of achievements, has anyone discovered all the hidden achievements? I’ve got all but 2.
Normally when I play, I pick the option of beating them with my MC’s knowledge of their fighting style.
In one playthrough I decided to use the buffs of my suit instead(in my case strength)
That’s the achievement there. They stay in the hospital bed afterwards.
When you go to the museum with Ortega as the puppet just go as friends or it’s professional. Even if you had past a relationship with Ortega you can still get the elevator scene and you also don’t need to walk away from her at the park as well.
actually, i don’t think you even have to go with ortega to have them visit the puppet. i had a playthrough wherein the puppet went with mortum and ortega still paid a visit because they saw them at the gala. when they arrive to the puppet’s room, mortum’s there watching over the puppet and has an interesting reaction to ortega.
Yeah, Ortega still visits regardless, but the elevator scene in question only happens if the MC goes with them.
Speaking of Mortum do they know Ortega?
They act weird when they see Ortega at the gala and hospital.
