Let’s say in Sidestep’s ten year disappearance they were tortured and experimented on by the government. By your employers. How would you make sure the same isn’t done to others and help people like Sidestep? Or would you consider this a necessary evil?

I just love it when I walk into a thread to find the sweet scent of fourth-wall breaks. I’ve got nothing to ask, but, you know, if an opportunity ever comes for us to answer questions for our audience, be they readers or watchers, the same way your characters are answering questions for us, you can count me in. Assuming that none of the questions involve anything weird or end in “and why?”.
Dear Sidestep/MC,
I have two things I’d like to ask you, with the consideration that they may help you, and may or may not tie in to one another. The first is, do you remember your childhood? More than one or two small details- are there any significant holes on what you can remember about your past, I wonder. The second is, do you know what would happen to you if your main body were to die while controlling a puppet? Would you die, I wonder, or would your conscience jump into the puppet… Not that there’s any certitude, but from what you can gather, is there any possibility you might have been someone else before you were Sidestep? That’s three questions, I’m aware, but you would know better than I do whether there’s any danger of ever combining with someone else’s consciousness. If this has happened to you, it may be possible you don’t remember events before such an occurance, but I suppose you may have more concept of if such a thing is theoretically possible. If the case for a non-psycher is a hard ‘no’, I pose to you an expansion of the question- what if it was another psychic individual?
Ortega, how long have you known Sidestep? Was it immediately after they debuted as a vigilante (conversely sometime after) or even before that?
And how is your relationship with Steel? Are you friends? Or just colleagues/comrades?
and also on that note, how did Ortega meet sidestep?
A question for our most favorite superhero team: Who of your colleagues would you rather punch in the face (if you had to choose at least one of them)?
Well, not a question but in my game Herald has issues alright since my mc always rivals the annoying brat out of frustration and probably a bit of jealousy as well. 
Okay well I suppose there is a question in there: To Herald: “What do you make of this new villain singling you out for the brunt of their fury?”
Hey! That’s your continuity, granted it may turn out worse for my mc in the long run but I chose to reflexively cultivate a sad, faded and most importantly powerless persona when meeting Ortega again.
So I guess my variant would be to Ortega, Steele (and Herald since loss of powers seems to most visibly unnerve him), what do you make of Sidestep’s claim that he lost his powers and what do you think of the implications that it might be possible for all boosts to lose their powers under the right, or should I say wrong, circumstances?

This is for Steel and Ortega: You’ve both been Rangers for a long time, how many different Ranger groups have there been in that time? Seems like the turnover could be pretty fast.
And as a follow-up question, how does this group measure up to previous groups abilities wise?
And finally just for Steel: what branch of the military were you in and what was your experience?
Aw, I’m bummed I didn’t learn about this thread sooner. Congrats on nearing completion, btw! I’m looking forward to getting the full game when it releases.
I don’t know if questions are still going to be answered, but here are some whose responses I’d be interested in reading:
To Ortega: You seem to hold unconditional regard towards Sidestep( or at least their legacy) whenever you talk about them. What exactly about Sidestep’s character or your shared history makes you trust them and admire them so much?

To Sidestep: Ortega and Argent seem to talk often and appear to be close friends. While the pair isn’t the new Charge and Sidestep, how do you feel about their relationship, speaking as Ortega’s former go-to for favorite companion? Also, if you would indulge us, what is the first thing you remember doing when you finally freed yourself from captivity?
To any of the characters that’d be willing to respond: Who’s the superhero( or supervillain) that you’d say you’ve looked up to the most in the past or present?
