You’re weird, my mc became a racer to get away from farm chores, not to do more of them and certainly not to do them under the command of a sneering, condescending overseer. In the same team where the guy who nearly killed us gets his dream job.

. My MC left the farm to be a dragon racer but being the one that takes care of the dragons is better! Cuz dragons are awesome and cute! But my MC still plans on being a racer.
He is a jerk yes but I don’t dislike his dragon. I plan on befriending it like the other dragons.

I have to say nyx is one fine woman then again I do have a thing for heavy accented strong women (also I find it a tad bit funny that there is a “flirt with yourself” choice in the demo)

By the time the Team Cup is around you’re a regular competitor, hopefully a productive member of the crew lol, as each day of eventing features a team event as well. And yes, you need cooperation with Shader. I don’t know how big a role I’m giving Saren in the Team Cup yet.

I’d say that depends in large part on whether my mc will finally enjoy the same pay and perks as the other members by then or if he’s is still an un(der)paid, tacked on “extra” with stableboy “duties”.
I hope “cooperation” here means staying the hell out of each other’s way. That’s the kind of modus vivendi my mc might manage with that stuck up Shader.
Hopefully small cause there is no way in hell my mc won’t try to take out or at least undermine Saren whenever he gets the opportunity now.
Ah, crap that means no romance for my mc in this game. 
Cassius was my only hope left, even if my mc was less than impressed with his whole “noble knight” act and style.

The demo throws a 404 error after I pick that I might like them and after I laid in the bed to sleep (but I think that’s the end of the demo anyways so I guess it doesn’t really matter)
Shader is nearly as rude as Saren, okay with the exception that he doesn’t actually try to kill my mc (yet), I’ll grant him that. Still he’s unbelievably rude, arrogant and stuck up and doesn’t exactly make a favourable first impression on my mc. Admittedly thanks to Saren my mc makes no favourable first impressions himself too and that’s really too bad since you cannot get a second chance at them and second and third impressions are comparatively worthless.
Oh I’m sure if you take the time for him to get to know you he might act differently with you. The way he acts could just be a way to keep people at a distance because he doesn’t like opening up or being around people. Once you get his guard down I’m sure you’ll like him.
True you can’t change first impressions, but you can change how a person thinks of you! You just have to prove them wrong and show them. But I’m a Optimus so that’s what I think lol.
I’m not so sure, he acts like he’s so far above the mere stableboy that it seems like a rather fruitless use of my mc’s scant spare time to try and spend it with a guy who is condescending and clearly regards us as inferior. After all my mc already gets enough of that attitude from his “boss” in those stables and Saren without him deliberately seeking out such treatment.
