This is too general a question for me to answer, I’m afraid. Are you talking about the encounter with the leviathan before reaching the island?
In general, which answers are going to help you is dependent on your stats. If you’re strong, brute forcing things is likely to work (like lifting the mast off Maeve). Your ‘type’ of social approach matters, too, so if you’re more diplomatic, you’ll likely have success keeping people calm instead of trying to fire them up, etc.
Picking people right for the job is also important. Characters with good dexterity and eyesight (e.g. Izzy, Pan) are going to do better at firing your ballistae than characters who are better up close or can’t see well to aim.
If you can give me more specifics about your stats and choices I might be able to help more, but that’s the general advice.
I just finished the Dashingdon “demo” and wow, you guys have done something fantastic. I love that our choices don’t lock us into certain paths. I went for a mostly diplomatic route the entire time, persuading people out of fighting, and having the intent to destroy the artifact, but after the Iskendi kidnapped Roise I flipped the switch to ultraviolence and all of the flavor text reflected all the choices up to that point. Beautifully done, I can’t wait for the Epilogue. You guys have a new subscriber on Patreon.
Diaspora is joining Fallen Hero, Infinity, Golden Rose, and CdlC-verse as one of my favorite IFs. Excited to see what you guys do next!
Woah this game are still in WIP i have been expecting this game for a long time. This will become a masterpiece because of the amount of time dedicated by the author. Hopefully soon this game will be finalized and release so that we can purchase it. So that atleast we can support you the author of the game and create another great game.
I think you mean the epilogue; everything through chapter 11 has been written, but the final scenes aren’t there, and there’s probably going to be a partial rewrite/restructuring/makeover
