Deduction: Dark Plot (WIP)

I’ve started work on my first WIP, “Deduction: Dark Plot.” I hope you enjoy it. You will take the role of a detective summoned to a house in the woods of New Hampshire. Your client, Elmore Reading, asks you to save his life from an unknown threat. You will negotiate and interview with the denizens of the house, gather evidence, and form your own theories about what’s going on. Focus will be on psychologically realistic interaction with suspects, open exploration, and meaningful choices. Solving the mystery correctly will not be guaranteed.

Currently the game is around 13,500 words, or 2 complete chapters. I plan for the game to reach around 70,000, and I will attempt to update every two weeks.

Looks very promising, I like how the reactions of the characters change depending of our previous choices, looking forward for future updates
One question, just curious, will our mc have personality stats??

Thank you very much for playing! No, likely not. That was my initial plan, but I didn’t like how it turned out. Each character will react according to a hidden character stat and your previous actions.

Haha okay no problem, just curious, without personality stats the wip still looks very interesting so I’m happy :joy:
