just based on the those example names for sequels i think it would really cool to see the rise and fall of heroes or powered individuals but all as different MCs and in different times or even as the same MC.

Well this week I tested positive for Covid-19. I am doing fine, this has put me into a position to get more writing and housework in. I have planned more of the parallel story and found a title that I like. I will not be sticking to a title theme. A secondary title Iām still on the fence about.
While trying to finish up the IT route for Chapter 12 I made a decision for changes Chapter 13. I will be shuffling around a few scenes I have planned to bring in a major event sooner. Also I have decided to change the cast for the chapter. It was about the main character and one other hero. Iām going to bring in more now. This scene/chapter happening earlier will change the tone of the other events I am shuffling them around with. I am looking forward to these changes.
I was hoping to be done with this IT route, but the variations were too many. I have stopped doing this in writing this story/game and for good reason. It is very time consuming. This will likely be the last chapter that is this crazy in branching story aside from the climax. Choices made earlier in the game can change what actions come to pass in the climax, but this is a discussion for a later time.
I have decided that I will not be updating the demo until I have finished Chapter 11, 12, and 13. Despite me earlier saying I did not want to make changes to the power creation system, I have come up with something that would add more customization, slightly. I may try to implement it, but it will take awhile for me to implement it.

Well the plan is to have two main characters. Each getting a personal story before mixing their two worlds in the sequel.
I have considered this and I am not against it, but I am not sure if this is the route I will be taking it. I like the idea of doing different heroes, but this level character creation can be annoying to do every story. My ability to tell a story is not the greatest. As such I can not tell enough of everyoneās story that I would like with only one game. Doing more stories will allow me to cover more of these characters and their lives that I could not in a single game.

I wanted to take a moment to write about skill checks in the game.
Not all checks are created equal. While I am not advocating right and wrong choices, I do feel that when you have to select between several skills to use, not all of them should be equally easy to accomplish. For this game I have it set up that sometimes it is easier to deceive people than to persuade them. Some people are easier to frighten than to sweet talk. I think this is also encourage people to not have to focus in a single skill for all choices.
Practice makes perfect. Whenever you choose to use a skill that skill will improve even if you do not succeed at the check.
What are your thoughts on this?

I have finally cleared the IT route of chapter 12. I have started brain storming the changes I am making to chapter 13. Originally I intended to have less characters in it, but plans have changed and I look forward to the implications of these changes.
I hope to go back to chapter 11 soon for the second route. I have been waiting to get to the next chapter for a long time, so it is hard to make myself take a step back to get other things completed.

Gonna say this question is prolly real dumb but when will the new chapters be available in WIP? or are you just gonna finish the story and submit it? or are they already playable and Iām just stupid? itās been bugging me for a minute lol.
Normally the platform already has a schedule of āreleasesā to put it in some way of interactive stories. And if this yearās list is full in every month, it will probably come out for the next year in which this creator ends his story with superheroes.
If this the reply to @Omega_werewolf, Iām pretty sure they werenāt talking 'bout the final release. They were wondering 'bout the WiP update release, wondering why they arenāt finding any.

Thank you for asking those questions. No they are not playable yet. I do not plan on releasing an update to the demo until I have completed chapter 11, 12, and 13.
After that I am not sure if I will be updating the story beyond chapter 13. Instead I will probably just put in updates for alternate job stories, doing additional drafts on the existing chapters, and maybe update a system or two. There is still a chance that I will pull away from a chapter format.
I would like to avoid making the entire story available for free if I can avoid it. I noticed that a beta is required for submission, but I am not ready for that yet. I will look more into all of that as I get closer to completing this project.
Not much to report. I got some writing in for chapter 13 and have made some plans for editing and rewrites for early chapters. There has been some missing descriptions and foreshadowing to be placed in the first two or three chapters.
I might end up doing the rewrites before finishing chapter 11.

The story is good but thereās not alot of Hero scenes for the MC such as fighting crimes.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I suppose with me writing so many different optional paths, I did not notice that a play through does not seem to have as much hero action. To me, I have written a lot of in costume events.
There was always meant to be a bit of a balance between mask and work life. I did not want work/home life to be a background thing because that should affect how someone performs in costume and vice versa.
With a few up coming chapters this balance might change, but I will take your feedback into consideration. Thank you.
I have gotten a fair bit of writing done this week, which is good. Over the last two weeks I have fallen behind in keeping to my weekly word count. This week I have written enough to meet my weekly goal and make up for my short comings the previous week.
I have finished two add fill in stories for some chapters. I have also done a new draft with some line edits for chapter one. Now the storm scene is slightly more chaotic and is starting to introduce additional characters earlier.
It was fun to write short stories from the perspective of other characters giving a bit more background for the climax and mid point that is being built up.
I have also worked on chapter thirteen a bit. I am struggling to balance introducing all the the elements in this chapter that I intended to do. This is probably why I am writing through these other scenes so fast. It has one or two things to accomplish, not four or six that Iām trying to balance.
Iām looking forward to the next demo update even more now!

I noticed a lot of lines referred to my character as he or used masculine traits when playing a female character, this does take some of the immersion away of creating my own hero.
Iām sorry to hear that! I did not notice that I was doing that. Would you be able to provide some examples?
In the first chapter, after picking the characterās name there is a line that says:
The woman follows me as I make my way down the winding hallway to your office. The numbers were within expected results.
I just thought I would point out that it changes from first person to second here.
I noticed it during the start, when talking to Valentina if playing as a female character, she calls you sir.
