Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that
X-D
@Eric_Moser should give that a read. It could end up being specktacular inspiration fuel

Nullifier was 56%.

Electric powers were 38%

Don’t remeber the percentage for punching bag.

So,yeah,Nullifier was winning by a long shot.

According to my special mod powers of peeking behind the scenes it seems like you removed it yourself :no_mouth: Yeah, I don’t know how that happened either, and seem to be unable to revert it.

I’d suggest just creating a new poll.

Edit:

Just double-checked it, and those were mentions of your more recently removed posts, not that one. It’s only getting stranger :no_mouth:

Looks like the nullifier option gained too much power, gained sentience and decided to nullify that poll to stop Eric from trapping it within the confines of a choice game

Well, that just makes it the best power, doesn’t it? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

No I will not be nulled by that power it’s a shock that electricity did win. (Jk I suck with puns…)

Oh God it’s gotten so powerful it’s nullified the quality of puns on this thread, soon we’ll be reduced to naught but knock-knock jokes and yo’momma insults.

No, not the puns! :scream:

… Okay, I’ve been sitting here for ten minutes now and I can’t think of a single pun to finish this post off. The nullifier, it’s gotten more powerful.

We’re too late…

Knock knock...

Who's there?

Yo mamma...

Jokes aside, it would be interesting to see if/how the power nullifier power affects the group dynamics.

The truth about this evil is worse than any of us can realise, for it turns out that this creature has been fed and powered by none other than ERIC MOSER HIMSELF, who has allowed the supervision Null to grow to such levels of power (it’s over 9000 y’know) so that he could release it in the choice of games forum so that it could nullify all other threads, therefore rendering their related games weak allowing him to claim superiority among the writers!

So how do u guys think this Nerf power is going to work?
Is it gonna work like Ban’s “Snatch” skill, EraserHead’s quirk, or something else?

So,is it official that the Nullifier is going to be the Zenith power?

Or does electricity still have a chance, since it’s easier to write in?

But seriously, one of these powers would be interesting, and fit so well with the story’s theme that it could be pretty iconic; the other is often used as a minor part of other heroes’ power-sets (just electricity wasn’t enough for Thor or Storm, was it?)

Isn’t the theme different depending on your route?

With the way the pool went it probably is

Not really; it’s all about a powerless superhero finding ways to fight even without power. While the nullifier power is technically a power, it still keeps the theme, only now we can make anybody powerless, too. Electricity powers don’t really fit that theme.

Or perhaps it is about finding your own power and becoming a super-hero despite what others think, see or believe about you.

Too much emphasis is placed on the “lack” of a power by many in the community. Finding your own unique path to becoming a super-hero is the main theme of the series so far.

True, that’s definitely another viable read of the theme of the game. I guess the problem here is that, like any text, the audience has the power to read whatever theme they choose - and even though those reads will mostly be pretty similar they’ll never be identical.

Still, I’d argue that the ‘powerless’ theme is still linked to the ‘unique path’ theme because that path is largely influenced by your lack of powers, at least so far. I guess you could interpret them as two facets of the same theme?

Regardless, though, the nullifier power at least has connections to a possible theme, while the electricity power doesn’t have any links at all. Not that it makes electricity any less of a power - it’d still be super fun to play. It just gives the nullifier a significance that I’d love to see play out. That’s my two cents anyway.

What happened to the poll? I can’t see it.

Anyways, the nullifier power is an awesome idea! Just wondering how it would work though, would the MC need to touch people to nullify them? Use telepathy-ish powers at the cost of a huge migraine?
Use gadgets to nullify?

Well, it’s an awesome idea in theory, but since CCH is all about teamwork, once the enemy is nullified, wouldn’t that make battles a real cakewalk?

The electricity powerset seems a little out of left field. Besides, isn’t elemental powersets a little cliche? We’ve got rain and sunshine already…
