@Vyndral I promise you, you’ll won’t get thrown to the mines to be infected by the Maverick Virus. Probably something a lot worse, though.
@HarrisPS Congratulations! I’ve been looking forward to this ever since I finished Creme. Here’s to many, many more adventures in the Creme franchise! Already anticipating the next one, of course!
I also like the fact that the action happens a lot earlier. The opportunities to start a romance also occur a lot earlier too. Compared to Creme, this is a vast improvement.
@AletheiaKnights thank you so so much. It really means a lot - I and I’m sure many other authors know how much thought you put into your playtesting and reviews, and to hear such kind comments blows me away. I just have a bit of dust in my eye!
@starpendle thank you! I hope you enjoy just as much or even more than Creme!
@Vyndral haha! No promises to anyone for their safety or otherwise
@RockmanX I learned a lot during and after making Crème, not to mention Noblesse Oblige, day jobs, and making this one (the long cooking time had some benefits!) so it was lovely to be able to put some of what I learned into practice. (There is some flexibility about starting romances too, so there are plenty of chances in the early to mid game to start them.)
@Maneki that’s amazing, you’ll be coming in fresh! I hope you enjoy them all!
Edit: sorry @Sade98, I missed you when scrolling - your testing was much appreciated! Name randomisation isn’t something I thought of but I can always put it into future games it may read awkwardly to have the repeated name but you could always headcanon that the Crème MC was named after the Royal Affairs MC…?
lol. lmao. You’re absolutely right, and here I am having literally drawn up a (correct) timeline just the other day and promptly forgetting it (trivia: did you know one of the main characters from the new thing was born the same year as the Noblesse Oblige PC?). Picture me comedically facepalming!
Appreciated, but that would get me in a lot of legal trouble. If you’re after a Disney game from a CoG author (a rare sentence, maybe, but a thing that exists) I recommend investigating Dreamlight Valley which Josh Labelle, the Crown of Sorcery and Steel author, worked on!
One day to go (at least where I am). I’m excited! And nervous. But mostly excited!
That’s some beautiful cover art! Are the illustrated figures meant to represent specific characters, or are they just a generic bunch of Archambault students?
@AletheiaKnights I see a lot of Javi in the central character (though that could equally be an MC with similar looks)! I’m not certain about the others, but that doesn’t prove anything since my internal visualisation of people is… not strong, especially for characters pre Noblesse Oblige, so art doesn’t tend to fully match whatever amorphous thing goes on in my head
@Tess I’m so glad, I hope you have fun with it once it’s out tomorrow!
