Felix is a fling (and obvious bag of trouble) for people who can’t live without making their life a mess every five minutes. /s
Ah, and of course flings would not be listed with the ROs.
So on that topic which RO can be poly with G?
Sam, like it was mentioned a few posts above. The other two are not interested in this kind of arrangement.
As discussed previously a week ago or so, we have no idea at this point if this is “postponing the inevitable” or something sustainable.
Uhh it’s semi with Sam open relationship kinda just postponed the inevitable.
Hiya!!
Sorry for not answering these sooner, I’ll slowly get to the rest and thank you @fsix so much for holding the fort HAHA yep Felix is a fling without a full romantic arc BUT you’ll definitely be seeing a lot more of them in the later chapter. Like I mean, a lot. Including some… consequences with Tobin (if relevant).
Also yes you can be in an open relationship with Sam at the moment, but an open relationship gets a hard-no from Rayyan and Tobin (you can speak to them about it), but a yes from G (an option you can bring up at the G-only dinner gathering.) So yep, just G and Sam for now, with no intention of opening it up to Rayyan and Tobin. As for when this… arrangement will start to teeter (if it will)… you’ll just have to wait and see
That said, knowing I’m not great at replying to all the messages that come in (they’re all lovely and I read & love them all!), I’ve decided to write a little monthly dev log at the end of every month just to keep a constant communication stream of what’s been cooking, and I hope that it will at least be a useful way of keeping things on the burner when I’m busy writing and not super online! Here’s a link to the first one (November!)
Thank you for the message and we all love and appreciate and support you for everything you have brought us with this.
I’m especially excited for the open relationship and to see if choices we make in it affects if it last or if it fails
If anyone has a guide to getting the “Invincible First Week” achievement, please help!
I’ve tried a dozen different times, would greatly appreciate it
I’d recommend just focussing on Agility, Strength, and Endurance. Which can give you an OP combo, focussing on these stats allowed me to win: all of my challenge matches, come first in the five-mile run, and come first on the strength test. If the achievement includes the Devil’s Dozen then unfortunately I can’t help you with that one.
Strength, agility, endurance, and finesse all need to be 25 by the point the team gets introduced
To be exact, you can get away with 25 strength only if your MC is tall. Average height MC needs one point more, and shorter than average MC needs 2 points more in order to pass the jump height test with the top result.
I genuinely mean this when I say it, this is some of the best work I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading, and is an absolute breath of fresh air compared to a lot of releases and their usual tropes.
We are sorely missing not only athletic/sports based IF’s but also just slice of life, lighthearted stories. I was so exhausted of fighting some world ending conflicts when all I really want to do is cultivate a friendship, pick up a hobby, just take my time with the game.
For the first time in a long time I find myself totally engrossed in the story and characters. I love that the stats matter, but it isn’t restrictive like other games, just means you have to approach different encounters differently and I adore that kind of application.
I find that there is also almost zero dead weight/bloat in this story, you have a way of making even the most mundane conversations not only bearable, but legitimately engaging because the characters are so real.
Overall I just really can’t wait to see the full project come out whenever that is and I look forward to your work beyond this as well.
Can anyone help please ? How to get most marks on the first exam test ?
My method has always just been to pick smart dialogue actions (Debating with your father, for example) and read coursework in your freetime.
You can also pick the bonus intelligence options in character creation (Going to college for academics, etc) if necessary, but I’ve been able to get by fine on the above.
In the beginning of the story pick the reason why you want to be at Cargill is because of it’s high academic reputation. In the prologue when facing Rayyan pick the intelligence option when challenging his call instead of the charismatic option. Also when talking to the girls at the reception pick the option “do you require a bribe of some sort?”,when they try pulling your legs. I found out that option increases your intelligence stat by a little bit. After that just get your studies in and when taking the exams sit beside the overcompetitive student;can’t remember her name and choose to be competitive with her. This will work only if you’ve selected intelligence based options like I outlined above and done sufficient readings with your MC.Stuff like what the other commenter mentioned like debating with your dad is useful too
What are the stats required for that? In my save I can ask Sam for the open relationship but she says she will think about it and later at the train station, the only options I get are to be with her or not. (I should mention besides her I’m only romancing G.)
Hmm there’s no stat requirements but, looking at the script, i’m sorry to say there seems to be a bug in there which currently prevents this path from conclusion. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update.
I see. Thank you so much for answering!
Has anyone tried to do a love-hate playthrough where they’re a complete jerk to their RO but always pick romance options when given the chance? Im curious if this would work lol
I mean… This is more or less how Rayyan’s entire route is so far😭 (i love it)
