I saw this last night and decided to try reading it after I got my ass into bed and, wew. This interested me way more than most of the other things I have read lately. And giving us the option to change some things about our features after we get turned was neat

*Not to mention the amount of options even in there surprised me, especially initially I was like “Aww, the eye color I want isn’t an option.” and then after changed “Oh there it is!” lol

I really wanna see where you go with this, is there anywhere I read your other thing you apparently did before this one or nah?

The other project is Rewind, which is also here on the forum. But at the moment is just a demo and is in hiatus, since Cierra wants to do a big rework to it.

I’m so glad you find it so interesting, thank you so much for reading!!!

There will be more options to change your appearance after your change too, so be ready for that!

As Meira linked, my original work is called Rewind, and while it has to have a major rework, a lot of its current aspects will stay… depending on the route you go!

To try to clear up the order of these games:

Rewind is a sort of big turning point in Aome history and has a LOT of aspects that do show change in later games in this universe. It happened roughly 1,000 years before CoR.

CoR is 1,000 years after Rewind, and many Rewind characters who are not fully mortal or not mortal at all may make reappearances or big appearances, such as Avalon/Avlyne and Ryx/Lio. This is because the universe is continuous and each character I have in my games tends to not be a static NPC after the game is over!

There is another few games planned for this universe’s timeline, which will build backstory and unravel more sub plotlines I have running thoughout my games! I am most certain AV will be one of the major players in many or most of them.

Hope this helps!!!

prologue line 8: It is illegal to fall out of a *choice statement; you must *goto or *finish before the end of the indented block.

Thank you for pointing this out! Ummm… we’re not exactly seeing why it’s doing that. Can you tell me what choice you picked @Logan3000x?

I didn’t. I restarted the game and in the second page it gave me this error.

PS. back to normal…weird.

Hmmm… I’m ngl we have NO idea why that would happen. There’s not even a choice or fake_choice there sjfkskckkkfkwks dashingdon, please, for once in your life stop trying to break our games,

*Edit: my bad, there is a fake_choice there, but no choice. We’re sure it was just dashingdon being dumb.

Exciting. Love what I’ve seen so far. Love the uniqueness of the cast of characters. Look forward to learning more about them. Keep up the good work, my man.

Ah, so your appearance changes over time. Alright, that makes sense. Oh god, what if you start growing scales? Or feathers? Maybe even become an elephant? Supernatural Rainbow-Spider-Bird-Doggy! Nah, doesn’t roll off the tongue that well. I’m going to be thinking about this all day…

@AntPat Thank you so much for your comment!!! I’m really liking my plans for Chapter 5, as you get to see more of the team! Oh, and meet some more supernaturals/other mortal races.

@GrimReaperJr1232 haha, God, it really doesn’t roll off the tongue well XD But yes, your appearance will steadily have entirely optional changes, which people will notice

Also, I have a sort of announcement I forgot to really explain! All of the current ROs are 100% not human. Not a single one. While Alice and Bryn are Others, they truly aren’t human anymore. The ROs and team mainly appear human for a few different reasons.

  1. Some creatures at the Foundation (and elsewhere) have a type of glamour that only hides them from sight so long as the person doesn’t remain around them for too long. Skill level and practice makes this glamour type more resilient, but some people and many supernaturals will naturally have an easier time wittling it away.

  2. Some creatures have a glamour type they can freely manipulate, but taxes their energy. These types of glamours can be taken down from specific people depending on the creature’s skill level and powerfulness. Some people will reveal more of their appearance as you grow closer or more trusted.

  3. The final type is not a true glamour, but just shapeshifting. Shapeshifting to appear as a healthy human is extremely taxing and only a very powerful creaturr can do so. This type of shapeshifting (to be human) is unique to certain types of daemon hierarchies, as well as a few types of other supernaturals.

So, in short, ROs and other characters will slowly become less human looking depending on their glamour type/if they’re a shapeshifter.

Can we romance anyone if we pick “…the idea of removing all supernaturals from the world, be they “innocent” or not. They’re beasts and have no place in this world” option?
