I suggest you face West if yoy have a decent skill in combat, strength and agility in order to survive. If your character isn’t good at any of those you can just avoid confrontation with him by not going out and killing him.
*label combat_value
*set combat 0
*set combat +(fighting * 1.5)
*set combat +strength
*set combat +agility
*return
You need that to be higher than 8 to not instantly die, getting a weapon adds 2, and shapeshifting of 3 or more adds 2. There is another stat called west_downfall that can be increased through preparing for the fight in various ways, which will make it easier.
I’ve noticed when playing as as a isleno mc and doesn’t speak english estefania introduced herself as the mc broodmate considering my mc dominus is Guillaume
I think that particular line is from Jesse’s dialogue since his default Dominus is Sainte-Chapelle, if I recall correctly.
still it feels weird if estefania said it
It’s out of place, that’s for sure.
oh, that’s totally a bug. Let me work on that.
Game 1 = Volume I (New Orleans) & Volume II (Vicksburg)
Game 2 = Volume III (Memphis)
Game 3 = Volume IV (St. Louis)
@LeBaloo, @wolf666 I hope this image is useful. Try emailing support: support@choiceofgames.com
I think someone mentioned they uninstalled the app and later installed it again and were able to continue. Maybe try that? Your best bet would be to email support and the CoG staff will help you out.
@jasonstevanhill Couple more bits.
With attempting his language and failing, the text makes a point to say Memeskia responds to the character in English. So when the ‘intelligence check’ succeeds, is Memeskia responding in English or an Indian language? And if the latter, why do they switch back to English and let everyone hear what’s said? Surely he wouldn’t give a damn about his audience being able to understand him when the character, as a fellow West child, is his target audience?
Also, whilst the nursing the sick option is present, it doesn’t seem to pop up for a similarly built Indian character. Another bug perhaps?
Ditto here.
Google has been sitting on three updates since Tuesday. This is why we haven’t “announced” the release yet. The current version has the Memphis and St Louis content, and you can buy the IAPs, but buying the IAPs doesn’t give you access to the content.
But if you email your Google receipt to support and make a webstore account, I can grant you access through the “side entrance.”
No, just a stuffed bird. I actually picked flowers for hat options in the game.
I doubt Zézé has only one hat, after all.
Henlo. Can someone tell me who the male romantic options are?
Wow, I can’t believe that guy. And to think I had a low-key crush on him (before I met Hiram, of course). Thanks for telling me this! I never procure refreshments but I always encourage him to meet his daughter and pretend to be her half-brother so this has never happened to me. I didn’t even know you could get the option to kill her. All I see is the option to walk her home, reveal yourself fully, or make up the half-brother shiz. Thank you again!
I did all of these things, but he spared Dido. :-/ Even at my most brutal though, I introduced him to his daughter so that he would consider my debt to him repaid.
You actually just prompted me to find a bug. That’ll be fixed in the next update.
Ah, I see you’re a woman of culture as well.
Apollo would be a ideal RO. Though… I’m more a Silas Hope gal hoping to be Herbert Walker gal
Haha, I have tried to pretend Silas Hope didn’t happen. Romancing him was both the highest and lowest point of my poor undead MC’s existence. And I don’t think I will ever forgive Jason for making us go through that.
@HappyPotato While we can’t properly romance Hiram (probably because he lives too close), I yet found much delicious angst in the brief moments hinting at something more.
When his hand found itself entwined with my MC Zéphyrine’s (at the circus), and they had to quickly let go. When he held Zéphyrine’s gaze for longer than necessary upon parting (after the second circus). When he hesitated for a moment as the thought of placing a hand on Zéphyrine’s shoulder crossed his mind, before he decided better of it (after she tells him of regretting not having a mortal family any longer).
Vampires. Cruel, murderous, and amoral by nature. Yet here were two compassionate souls fighting to safeguard the last vestiges of their humanity. Two lonely hearts who dared not love again. Two creatures of the night… who yearned only to see the sun once more.
