Of course not. Doing that would be violence. You must peacefully interact with him and let him live to screw you over another day.
Chose him as my Xaos companion so I could push him in a chasm once.
He’s almost always killed by Zvad on my playthroughs these days though.
I will peaceful sent Breden to the Poison Harrowing
How to parley with Hector ?
Talking about when he does his hunt for rebels? Been a long time since i played through but it helps i think if you dont lash out at the nobels while being a rebel.
I choose parley with him but it always endup fighting with him.I don’t know how to do
You can’t actually parley with Hector. If you are noble, have 2 INT or expressed romance interest in hectory you can try to parley with him or Calea - either way you ends up talking with Calea - and then you can ask her to make him stop the raids for common interests.
I want get achivement “Betrayal” Could you suggest me that how to get this acheivement ? (I read in Stream community but I can’t get it )
You need to get info from Calea about Hector raids to protect yourself better (do not tell her to call off hunting party) and then ambush Hector veneurs by choosing to be among the bait. During the fight shout to him that Calea betrayed him.
Do you remember option during fight to lead choice to shout to Hector ?
You need a 2 CHA character. Be attracted to men and have a crush on hector so you can meet with Calea, then after she gives you information go to an ambush against him and his veneurs as bait, tell your cousin you want to parley, then ask for their weapons and a veneur to slaughter like they did with your own. After he naturally rejects, tell him there’s something he needs to know before he charges, and tell him about Calea.
Oh, I didn’t realize this was so long ago.
Anyways, on another question, after making an accounting, is it supposed to be impossible for a 2 COM character to rout the phalangites with the mage sword? Because as it stands now, a 2 CHA, 1 Int helot with no fighting skill at all is able to succeed at that, provided there are less than 40 phalangites,
Been a very long time since i last played or read about such things lol but some questions and thoughts that might help you. you are talking about in the final battle of the game? And when you say mage sword do you mean the three spears we get from the one path? Because to my memory there is no mage sword any Mc can aquire in first game. Now to the number of people that come to attack in the final fight depends on how peacefull a rebellion you got going but as a broad stroke a 2 com MC can totally win its about the choices you make leading up to the fight and during that matter
You can get it if you lose the battle and are captured. On your escape you can murder the Tagmatarch and take her magic sword as a consolation prize.
Ah yeah i remeber that part but that doesnt help in the final battle i thi k they were talking about though.
No, I’m talking about the theurge forged sword of the Tagmatarch that Apple mentions. I can win the big fight with any 2 COM character as long as I don’t turn everyone against me, but what I want is to lose the fight, call out to make an accounting, and then kill the Tagmatarch and rout the Phalangites with the magesword. But, from what I’m reading in the code, that’s either very impractical with less than 2 COM, as it requires there to be less than 40 Phalangites alive in the same run that has over 200 all troops still alive, or, and I just realized this, 3 theurges still alive. Meanwhile, a 2 COM character needs to have killed all theurges to not immediately die, and then kills 90 of the over 200 enemies that need to still be alive for you to get captured, but because 200-90=110, that’s still more than 100 and you die. A 2 COM character has impossible requirements for Routing the Phalangites with the theurge sword.
Ah okay i havent looked into it but in that run where i got captured and got the sword i pretty much had to get out with little to show beyond that other wise would die. Not my main Mc path but does sound like a issue for haven lol im not a code diver but it does sound like a issue just not one people normally come across.
It’s not an issue anyone’s ever come across naturally, but it’s just the knowledge that it’s possible for a borderline pacifist to succeed at routing the Phalangites at this point and not for a 2 COM character that makes me sad. If it were, a triple ending wouldn’t be so far fetched.
Do you perhaps know the choices that are linked to it? Such as the awakening of some kind of power or divinity?
What? There’s no divinity at play here, just, you marry Breden, you get a Kryptast code, your rebels get routed, you get caught, but you call an accounting and end up meeting the Tagmatarch and killing her and stealing her sword, and then either run away, try to save whoever was captured and is still alive, or go on a massacre that has a very small chance of working with any character that isn’t 2 COM.
